Alcohol Consumption

This page is about the minor game mechanic. For information on specific, items and boons, please see the relevant pages.

Drinking more than one alcoholic drink provided by certain NPCs within one in-game hour leads the champion to experience special drunk and/or black-out scenes. These effects proceed purely as described during the scenes (they do not cause a Status Effect), do not proceed when drinking consumable items, and do not stack. There is no mechanic to increase or decrease the champion's alcohol tolerance.

Inns

Ember's Taphouse

Drinking more than one drink at Ember's Taphouse in an in-game hour does not lead to any alcohol consumption scenes. However, if the champion drinks at Ember's Taphouse, and then again at The Wild Stallion within an in-game hour, the scenes there will proceed.

The Frost Hound

Drinking two drinks at The Frost Hound causes the champion to think that this may not have been a good idea; drinking three causes the champion to black out and wake up the next morning, disheveled, hungover, and embarrassed about what Garth might think of them. The champion may lose a few electrum; there are no other short- or long-term in-game consequences. The sequence is repeatable but does not change.

The Wayfort Bar

Drinking more than one drink of most of the beverages at the Wayfort Bar in an in-game hour does not lead to any alcohol consumption scenes. However, drinking Moonshine results in champion blacking out and waking up several hours later in their bed with the Bruised and Beaten and Cum Covered statuses. Unable to remember anything, they follow the trail of their clothes back to the bar, where several people look at them with awe or bright blushes. Also see Quest Related.

The Wild Stallion

If the champion elects to drink a second drink at The Wild Stallion, they will change their mind and order two more. The scenes that follow depend on if the champion has rented a room, their relationship to Rose, and if they are a bimbo or not.

Rose, after the champion orders two more drinks, says to enjoy, and she'll have a couple of the boys carry them up, and indeed, the champion wakes up the next morning in their rented room, hungover and grateful for the glass of water someone left on the nightstand.

Rose, after the champion orders two more drinks, says to enjoy, and she'll have a couple of the boys carry them up. The champion then wakes up the next morning in Rose's own room, hungover and grateful for the glass of water someone left on the nightstand.

Regardless of the champion's relationship with Rose, or whether or not she's rented a room, a drunk bimbo champ has sex with a minotaur at the bar, wakes up to possibly a different minotaur in bed and gives them a blowjob, and then, after loudly announcing that to the bar, takes part in an hours-long minotaur gangbang that leaves her dripping from all orifices and feeling on top of the world. Gives the champion Anally Filled, Orally Filled and Vaginally Filled.

There are no short- or long-term consequences to drinking at The Wild Stallion, and repeating the sequences multiple days in a row causes no change.

The scenes can be triggered by having one or more drinks at Ember's Taphouse and then drinking again within the same in-game hour at The Wild Stallion.

Encounters

Gianna's Caravan

The champion reacts differently to each of Tamarind's available drinks but does not get drunk. Moonshine counts as four alcoholic beverages, but it, like the other options, has text-based effects only.

Hashat

If the champion chooses "Sit In Lap" in Hashat's drunken encounter, they will be in for a night of sex and consume four alcoholic beverages. The effect of the alcohol is text-based only.

Pupperidge Farm

During the Festivus event at Pupperidge Farm, the champion can choose to "Drink Many" when prompted, leading to heavy petting between the champion, Anna, Morwen, Gloria and Lucia before dinner. The many eggnogs count as five alcoholic beverages, but the effect is text-based only.

Vaush

If the champion chooses "Drink" when they encounter Vaush alone, and then has three drinks ("Another!" and "Another!"), the champion becomes light-headed, blurry-eyed, nauseated and sweaty. The champion blacks out, and wakes up hidden beneath a bush. If the champion is traveling with companions, they share that Vaush moved the unconscious champion to keep them safe from his hunting party.

Wyld Elf Band

If the champion chooses "Party" after defeating the Wyld Elf Troupe, they drink four alcoholic beverages, and do a lot of heavy petting with the various people in attendance, but their buzz fades as the troupe runs out of drink. The effect is text-based only.

Drinking alcohol and becoming drunk is important to the events of Vision Quest, acquired from Antonina, the dreamwalking harpy who can be found at the Wayfort Bar.
