A non-hostile NPC. She was recently added to the game and there is still research to be done before this wiki article is complete.

Minerva is an outworlder who got stuck in [[Mareth]] and transformed into a shark/harpy hybrid. She can be encountered in the [[High Mountain]], usually appearing every 8th visit there (see note).
First time you encounter her she will talk with you for a bit seeming relieved that you aren't a sex hungry fiend, she will ambush you and fly you over to an abyss and threatens to drop you if you have ill intentions (regardless of Corruption level). If you happen to have wings large enough to fly, your character will comment you that you could easily fly to safety if she let you go chooses to answer her instead, leading Minerva to apologize for her hostility. After either two scenes, she will ask you to follow her into tower, where you are given two options, follow or leave. Choosing to leave will say that as you return home, Minerva looks sad before heading back into her home, but if you find the oasis for the second time it gives the same options and a similar reaction as if you followed her on the first time.

Once you encounter Minerva for the fourth time, she will be accessible from Places menu by selecting Oasis Tower.

| Minerva is a siren. She stands 8'5" with navy blue skin and a white belly, neck and inner thighs. Orange and white stripes adorn her legs, tail and back. Her head is topped with fiery red orange hair that frames her face with well kept bangs and also slide down her back in a pair of long braids. Her eyes are bright electric blue on pure black sclera. The sirens body is adorned with an expansive array of golden studs and rings, one through an eyebrow, a pair on her lips and even one in her nose. From her ears hangs large hoop earrings while a trio of studs sits higher up. Along the fin that tips her tail are a set of five gold rings linked together by a fine silver chain.

Attention-grabbing large red and orange feathered wings sprout from her back; the same feathers flow down her arms like those of a harpy. Two DD-cup sized breasts rests on her chest, they would look large on a human, but on Minerva, they appear quite average. Each breast is topped with a firm gold stud pierced nipple about half an inch thick.

Her feather-covered arms would be more at home on a harpy, but contrasts well with her well toned body. Her skin is blue and white and, though she is clothed, you can tell from how sheer her tight tube top is, that her nipples are a tender pink.

Minerva's wide hips make her waist appear thin and waspish; they sway in unison with a striped shark tail, each step accentuating her hips and tight shorts her rear. A long, pink horizontal scar mars the clean white skin across her stomach and a golden piercing adorns her navel.

Between Minerva's lightly toned legs rests all of her sexual organs; a normal vagina, and an unusually thick, sixteen-inch long anemone-like penis. The glans of that blue and pink shaft is ringed by small aphrodisiac-filled tentacles, while the base is surrounded by long tentacles as thick as fingers. Nestled against her soft thighs is a scrotum with apple-sized balls. She has a tight asshole, placed between her shapely buttcheeks, where it belongs.

Minerva has large demonic feet, each toe double-jointed and tipped with a large, black talon. Similar to her feet, her tongue also has a demonic quality, being two foot long and fully prehensile.

A white tube top and a pair of short shorts are all the siren wears for clothing.

===Interaction===

When you meet Minerva, you get the choice between six actions:
* Appearance
* Talk - Chat with Minerva
* Sex - Make love to Minerva
* Eat - Pick a and add it to your pouch.
* Drink - Drink water from Minerva's spring. Reduces lust and corruption (Effects on corruption possibly increase based on corruption. At 100 corruption, it is decreased by 3).
* Spar - Fight with her. 

===Appearance===
Choosing appearance displays the In Game Description of Minerva. You can choose one of the other options afterward.

===Talk===
During your conversations with Minerva she explains how she came to the world and was transformed, primarily by hanging around the Lake to eat the non-corrupt fish and being attacked by [[Shark-Girl|Shark Girls]]. Her other encounters include a battle with an [[Anemone|Anenome]] and when she later fled to the High Mountains with bands of [[Harpy|Harpies]].

Later conversations also reveal she did have a Shark Girl daughter, whom she nurtured, protected and eventually mated with repeatedly.

At some point she may ask the Champion if they would like to go flying. If they agree then later they may be allowed to become Minerva's lover/companion.

Minerva repeatedly expresses a desire to remove her corruption, but is unable to. She is continually being corrupted by, and held to the Glade's corruption reducing properties by a small demon that was implanted within her chest by the attack that caused her scar. This demon continually attempts to corrupt Minerva, forcing her to rely on the fruit and waters of the glade to sustain her sanity.

===Spar===
During sparring Minerva will sometimes begin to hum a pleasant tune. You must wait on the following turn or her next attack will instantly raise your Lust to 100, signalling your doom. This is quite appropriate for a siren.

If you spar with Minerva and win, she will give you a Pure Peach and a bag of gems (15-20) she has collected from the Harpies as a parting gift.

If you spar with Minerva and lose, she may give you a Pure Peach to help restore your strength or she may take some of your gems. Tests so far seem to indicate that she take gems if she beats you with the Siren Song but gives you a Pure Peach if she beats you in a straight physical fight.

For a player at level 27, Minerva is one of the only opponents that still provides more than a single XP per match (as does [[Izumi]]). Leveling up from 27 to 28 requires more than 400 visits to the High Mountain but it is still far better than any other region where you'll have to fight 2700 matches (plus any non-combat event you encounter) to achieve the same.

==Notes==

* Although Minerva is supposed to consistently appear every 8th visit at the High Mountain, she may on rare occasions turn up one visit earlier or later. ''(She still appears exactly every 8th visit as of 0.8.8.)''
* It is possible at some point that content may be added to purge Minerva of her corruption.
* At level 27 Minerva is the only opponent that gives you more than a single XP per fight. Sparring with Minerva gives 51 XP even at level 29. Does not happen as of 0.8.8 as "level too high" has priority over the calculation, including the additional 50 experience. This was either due to a bug in the code at the time this was written, the "level too high" check getting called at the end of the function rather than prior to the calculation or the contributor pooling experience. * As of version 1.0.2, Minerva is now accessible from Places menu after encountering her for the fourth time.

==Description:==
Hair Dyes are simple chemicals that allow the PC to change [[Hair Color|the color of his/her hair, fur and/or feathers]].

==Obtained from:==
Hair Dyes in various colors can be bought in two different places and are also occasionally dropped by some NPCs:
* [[Rathazul]]
** Rathazul will only offer to let the player purchase a dye from him if they have at least 50 gems (the price of one dose of dye); he takes the money from them first, so if the player decides not to take a dye, then they have wasted their money. Rathazul offers dyes in the colors of Auburn, Black, Blonde, Brown, Gray, Red and White. This is identical to the lineup of default hair colors for a PC when beginning a new game.
* [[Salon|The Salon]]
** The Salon offers five colors in exchange for their tithe of spooge: Blue, Green, Orange, Pink and Purple.
* [[Goblin (CoC)|Goblins]]
** Goblins can drop the same hair dyes as the ones available from the salon. Some of the descriptions are slightly different, (Orange is described as "Bright Orange" or "Brilliant Orange and Pink as "Neon Pink") but the dyes and the effects are the same.
* [[Tamani]]
** Tamani is a goblin and can drop at least some of the hair dyes that other goblins do. Whether she can drop all four goblin hair dyes or just some of them, is unknown.
* [[Tamani's Daughters]]
** Tamani's daughters can drop hair dyes from the "goblin range" of colors. Whether they can drop all four of them is unknown.
* [[Gnoll]]
** Gnolls sometimes drop brown or black hair dyes.
* [[Gnoll Spear-Thrower]]
** Gnoll Spear-Throwers sometimes drop brown or black hair dyes.
* [[Kitsune's Gift]]
** Can sometimes contain a black, blonde, red or white hair dye.

==Effects:==
* Changes [[Hair Color|hair color]]
* Occasionally reduces [[lust]]

The only intended effect of the hair dye is to change the color of the character's hair, fur and/or feathers. But since the dye is washed into the character's hair with cool water, it also cools him/her down a little and can cause a minor lust reduction if lust level is very high.

The color change is permanent, affecting even hair grown later, but can be overridden by later applications of hair dyes or other hair color changing items/effects.

==Default Hair Colors==

At the beginning of a new game, the player gets to choose between seven hair colors for his/her character:
* Auburn
* Black
* Blonde
* Brown
* Gray
* Red
* White
This can be [[Transformative_Items|changed]] by various items and scenes throughout the game.

==Effect==

Hair color also affects the color of any fur and/or feathers the character may gain throughout the game. It is permanent (unles overridden by a new effect) and also affects new hair growth.

Usually hair color remains an independent cosmetic detail, included in the character description and sometimes displayed in the [[Character Viewer]], but with no effect on other aspects of the game. There are some exceptions though:
* The result of letting a [[Sand Witch]] put a spell on you is different if you already have sandy blonde hair from an earlier encounter with her.
* Visiting the [[Corrupted Glade]] while having green hair and one or more penises may give you one or more tentacle penises. You may want to use hair dyes (or visit the Sand Witch) between visits to the glade to avoid this.
* Children you have with [[Amily]] will have fur the same color as your hair. This is the only aspect where there is even a minor difference between the seven default hair colors.
* Shiny black and black and yellow hair increases the character's [[Transformative Scores#Bee Score|Bee Score]]. That is, these two hair colors are among the factors that determines whether a character is a [[Bee-Morph|bee-morph]] or not.

==Changing Hair Color==

Hair color is usually changed by using various [[Hair Dyes]] that can be bought from [[Rathazul]] or at the [[Salon]] or found as drops from various monsters. There are also several other items and scenes that can change the character's hair color. The range of possible colors from other effects include several not available as dyes.

Notes about hair colors in the Character Viewer
* '''Blonde nuances:''' The various nuances of blonde do not seem to be supported by the viewer but since the default hair color is regular blonde, the result is fairly close anyway.
* '''Black nuances:''' The three different nuances of black, regular, midnight and shiny look the same in the viewer.
* '''Pink:''' Using pink hair dye sets the hair color to "Neon Pink" which is displayed in the viewer. However the Save Editor's hair color menu specifies the color as "Pink" which is not supported by the viewer. You can type hair color manually in the editor though.

==Character Viewer==

The [[Character Viewer]] currently supports all dye colors and also some of the others. When a color isn't supported, the viewer defaults to blonde.

==Save Editing==

Other hair colors can be specified by [[Save_editing|Save Editing]], either manually or with the Save Editor. Hair color data is just a text string that is inserted into the character description and can be set to anything you like.
