A general theme seems to be the colour black, whether that's fur, skin or scales. Confirmed, see above - shapeshifter.
		+	* The Phouka may use items as traps, as you can sometimes encounter an item hidden in a tree nearby after battling them. Generally this item is noticed by the PC before encountering the Phouka, and the PC ends up ensnared by roots and in battle with a Phouka upon trying to get closer to the item.
