Harvest Valley is the breadbasket of the region, producing much of the food that many Marchers depend on. High mountains on three sides ensure that the climate is relatively mild compared to the rest of the Marches, and the flat, rolling ground within is excellent for farming and gathering. Water is plentiful; however, it rarely rains in the valley proper because of the mountains' rainshadow, and the only surface sources of water are the river and Lake Tarahaugan. The Champion will first encounter Garret during the events of [[Dog Days]], where the Champion is tasked in finding and freeing Garret from being [[Hethia]]'s permanent plaything. The Champion will find Garret caged and naked, he agreed by become Hethia's pet in order to prevent her from harming the other imprisoned loggers. The Champion may ask Garret more information on:

If the Champion were to be defeated in combat, they will wake to [[Brother Sanders]], [[Garth]] and about 20 gathered militiamen at the camp. They will note that Hethia fled long ago and the group will escort the Champion, loggers and an unconscious Garret back towards Hawkethorne, it seems that Garret was knocked out during the fight and will be carried by his father.

If the Champion is victorious in combat against Hethia if they chose to break Garret out, he will have obtained some wounds from his fight against the warg, although nothing he can't handle (Bitches dig scars). Once the loggers have been freed and Garret finds some clothes, he along with Champion escort the loggers back towards Hawkethorne considering the unnatural events since the night of the blizzard. The journey back is peacefully and the loggers are able to return home unharmed, however Garret will not head home immediately and will need sometime before he can face his old man. This scenario will also occur if the Champion managed to parley with Hethia without the aid of Brother Sanders (minus the injuries).

In the event that the Champion bring Brother Sanders, they will find Garret in the middle of being Hethia's plaything/doggy. At the moment Garret notices the Champion and Brother Sanders, he will visibly cringe and attempt to hide his face (for all the good it'll do). Brother Sanders will be able to parley peace with Hethia such that she will release the loggers and her doggy dildo, much to his embarrassment of having been seen collared and used by the elf witch. Similar to the previous scenarios Garret will not immediately return to his father and will take some time to reflect.

Having Garret finally back at Hawkethorne, the Champion may come across a conversation between Garth and Garret regarding the events of [[Dog Days]]. Talking to Garret about his friends will reveal that [[Anna]] and [[Morwen]] of the [[Pupperidge Farm]] have a long friendship with family. Garret has been concerned about the farm ever since the night of the blizzard, however he has been on tight watch from his father ever since he returned. He will ask the Champion if they can check on the farm in [[Harvest Valley]].

If the Champion were to take upon the second task from Garth ([[Shades of the Past]]), the catfolk bard [[River]] would suggest to the Champion on bringing Garret along for the adventure due to it being connected to his mother. Garret will travel with River towards the old fort and will meet the Champion at the bottom of the chasm in the [[Foothills]], however he will need to make some preparations before heading out. Once the Champion reaches the chasm, they will find Garret and River waiting for them. Garret will have received a new upgrade from Brother Sanders and [[Ogrish]], new silver studded cestus which allow him to actually punch the ghosts that inhabit the old fort.

If Garret were to encounter [[Magna]] at the tournament, he will decide to face her with or without the Champion. If Garret were to face her alone, he will ask why she looks like his mother. The two will have a back and forth but he will eventually lose to due to lack of training and experience. If the Champion had fought and won against Magna, she will ask the Champion for a fuck, when the Champion approaches their companions for a second opinion, he will ask the Champion not touch Manga due to her similarities with his mother. If the Champion does not fuck Magna, he will thank the Champion for not mentally scarring him. However if the Champion were to sex Magna, he will visibly cringe and step out of the room until they are done.

When facing [[Jarl Gunvaldsen]], the Champion may parley with the jarl through Garret. The Champion will first meet Shar outside an old Belharan tower at the north east of the [[Foothills]]. She's in a bit of trouble, she wants to enter the tower but is unable to open the tower's gate. Due to the unusual size of her wings, Shar is unable to fly such that her sisters told her that there is wizard in the old tower that can help her become more normal. She will introduce herself and ask if the Champion can help her open the gate to the tower. The Champion may decide to help her or refuse, refusing to help Shar will NOT lock future interactions with her and the Champion may decide to help her again at anytime. Whether the Champion decides to help her or not will start the [[Ugly Duckling]] questline.

When the Champion has decided to help Shar, they will be first tasked with dealing with the tower's gate. Each of the five different [[:Category:Classes|classes]] will have their own special way of dealing with the gate. Once the gate has been dealt with, Shar will compliment the Champion on their ability and would request the Champion's company in exploring the tower because its spooky. Inside the tower, Shar will temporarily join the Champion's party (however she cannot be manually controlled), they will come across an [[Arcane Golem]] that had been guarding the tower all this time. If the Champion is defeated by the golem, it will result in Shar's unfortunate death . When the Champion has defeated the golem and the party has gotten their bearings they will proceed to the top of the tower where the wizard's chambers. The party arrive at the chambers to not only find it abandoned but also that a skeleton, presumably the wizard, lays upon the bed in a tattered night robe. Despite the objective of the adventure to find the wizard had failed, Shar will decide to take residence in the old tower having been motivated by the Champion's words of not being on the ground due to the height of the tower. After burying the wizard and the golem, Shar can now be encountered at anytime at the old watchtower.

Subsequent visits to Shar will have her safely glide down from her tower in order to talk with the Champion. The following interactions will be available:

There are three stages in which the Champion may introduce an ovilixer and get a corresponding scene for it (Shar's pregnancy birth timer is <33%, <66% and >=66%). When giving Shar the Ovilixer, there will exist scene variations for each of the pregnancy stages and using said ovilixer that involve her alignment scale. The scenes will check if Shar's courage is higher than her perversion. Each time Shar births an egg, it will raise her hip and butt rating by 1 to a maximum of 20.

If the Champion has completed [[Getting Into The Closet]], Shar will appear as a helper of the cloister in the [[Chapel of Velun]]. It seems that as soon as the Champion brought back the relic, she was drawn to it and snuck into Hawkethorne to get to the relic. [[Brother Sanders]] had vouched for her, sensing no ill intent from her and she's become a welcome visitor to the village despite being a harpy. Mothfolk are winged humanoids, generally considered to be of elven ancestry. They typically have slender or bottom-heavy figures, long legs, and flawless elven features, including tapered ears. ==Reproduction==
Mothfolk are an oviparous race, meaning that after copulation, a female moth's belly will begin to swell with growing, fertilized eggs. A mothgirl's pregnancy will typically last about three months, whereupon she'll lay a clutch of between two and six eggs, each about fist-sized and sheened with a delicate waxy covering. The eggs must be tended to for an additional month, whereupon they will begin to disintegrate, and the newborn moths will claw their way into the world by eating their own shells.

The history of mothfolk and the Belharan Empire are virtually inseperable. The Imperial heartland was also where the first primitive mothfolk settlements were located, and they quickly became subjects of the human-elven hegemony. Because mothfolk are, by and large, a peaceful and loyal people, they found life within the empire to be relatively prosperous and rewarding, and as they provided more soldiers and workers for the young Belharan Empire, so too were they rewarded with greater privilege and power.

Several cities and provinces were ruled by mothfolk nobles, and Belharan history is replete with stories of moth generals and wizards earning great victories through their cunning and guile.

When the empire broke apart following the Godswar, many mothfolk-controlled provinces became de facto states of their own, giving rise to a loose chain of city-states to the west of what's left of Belhar now controlled by mothfolk. The naturally gentle disposition of these mothfolk has reportedly not been of great help to them as barbarians and marauders rampage across the countryside.

==Society & Culture===
While the Belharan Empire was predominantly human and elven, mothfolk remained one of the most civilized and peaceful of the demi-human races living within its borders. Because of this, mothfolk aren't likely to have ever had a developed culture or society entirely their own, but rather were shaped and molded by their place within the empire.

Mothfolk of the empire typically belonged to large blood-tied clan s, such as the Hawkwing or Rosetree, living in and around a certain Belharan settlement. Those of noble rank adopted Imperial stylings and surnames, such as the knightly Errion family of Maidenbridge. In either case, mothfolk regularly contributed to the ranks of the empire's magicians, and were widely regarded as being among the best enchanters and mage-smiths in Belhar.

It is generally believed that mothfolk once possessed a great cult dedicated to elemental fire, and several prehistoric ruins from this worship can be found scattered across the rolling plains and forests of the heartland. This faith was almost entirely subsumed into the Church of Lumia during the imperial supremacy, though as Belhar continues to fracture and its churches have lost much of their power, perhaps the old faith of the fires will emerge once again.

Vesparans, better known as hornetfolk, are a race of humanoid insects found throughout the westerlands of the continent, spanning from the southern plains to the cold forests of the Marches. They have chitin-armored limbs and thick manes of hair parted by animated insectile feelers. Dark eyes and full, often-painted lips round out their faces. Most hornets have slender, athletic figures, with their most distinguishing trait being their oversized rear abdomens which house a potent stinger and ovipositor.

Female vesparans are taller and more powerfully-built than their male counterparts, as they serve as laborers and soldiers for the while while the males remain in pampered seclusion within the queen's harem. The iconic image of a female hornet is a tall, toned amazon armored in glistening black chitin and charred bronze, wielding a venom-coated spear against the enemies of her queen.

Typically, females have small breasts and hips, as they aren't part of the reproductive cycle beyond perhaps wetnursing one or two hatchlings. Males have large members and balls to best fulfil their role beneath their queens, with otherwise unremarkable figures. handmaidens of the queen, sometimes called Hive Knights, are the largest and most well-groomed members of the hive; they often have larger breasts and fuller figures overall to assist their mothers in rearing children when they are not deployed to war.

A hornet queen is the largest of all her hive, often standing well-over 7ft. trall. Compared to beefolk and other insectile beast-kin, a hornet queen rears relatively few young at a time, and devotes little time to mating compared to combat. The amazon queens lead their children to war and pillage from the front lines, entrusting their handmaidens to become their replacements should they fall. Vesparan warrior-queens tend to be physically mighty as well as beautiful, with massive venomous stingers, large honey-filled breasts, and ancestral arms and armor passed down through countless generations.

==Reproduction==
Typically, only one female in a hornet hive is fertile at any one time - the queen. While she remains within the hive, the queen exudes a powerful pheromone that renders all of her daughters quite sterile, and stokes the flames of male hornets' lusts to such an extent that, while in her presence, they cannot help themselves but to be c onstantly erect and ready for the queen's pleasure.

Despite the overwhelming virility of hornet males, their queens lay eggs rather rarely, as vesparan hives tend to possess only limited resources compared to their wealthy and prosperous cousins, the beefolk. When a hornet queen is fertilized by one of her drones, she can swell with a clutch of between twenty and thirty eggs, which she will use her ovipositor to load into several of her daughters; these daughters, in turn, will leave the hive and seek out members of other races to defeat in battle and anally fill with eggs, forcing other races to do the most laborious part of egg-care until they're practically ready to hatch. Only a rare and miserable hornet-girl is forced to carry her queen's eggs to term herself, unable to best anyone at all in combat. A chemical produced by an egg's shell causes the unwilling host to begin lactating a thick, sweet honey shortly after implantation.

Once laid, a hornet egg typically gestates in its host for ten to twelve days before ejecting itself. Grounded eggs hatch within a matter of minutes, giving rise to small hornets not much larger than a human fist - and yet ravenously hungry. Hornetlings will drink their fill from their host to gain their strength before instinctively flying back to their home hive, where they are raised by their sisters until adulthood.

It is unsurprising that relatively few eggs, once sent into the wild, return to the nest as live young.

==History==
Hornets have little history to speak of, as each hive is unto itself a sovereign nation independent of all other hives. The Belharans attempted several times to subjugate the hornets, treating them as a cohesive whole, and failed every time. Some individual queens would bend the knee or sign alliances with outside powers, but the majority are painfully prideful and haughty, refusing to even consider such humiliation. History speaks, on rare occasion, of hornet amazons from dead hives becoming adventurers or even heroes, wielding bronze and poison in the name of some small village or petty kingdom that earned her respect - and often became her new home, soon to be the site of a new hive.

==Society & Culture==
Every hive is different, but most vesparans conform to some universal principles. The queen rules all within and around her hive, commanding the unwavering loyalty of her daughters. She mates rarely, just enough to replenish the hive's numbers and, on occasion, to produce a new handmaiden to become her heir. Most of these handmaidens, each individually selected and groomed from childhood, become hive knights - guardians of the hive and bodyguards to their mother, helping to administrate and raise her lesser daughters. Only a handful of these hive knights will exist at once, perhaps 5% of the hive's total strength at most.

Hornets are itinerant warriors. Even the least of the hive's laborers is expected to b e a master of the war spear and shield, and excepting its males, the entire hive can be mobilized for combat a moment's notice. Any vesparan who cannot hold her own in battle soon finds herself exiled... or dies attempting to prove her mettle, a death worthy of honor among her sisters.

Unlike the peaceful and prosperous beefolk, vesparans do not produce much for themselves, and instead take what they need - often from the bees. In more civilized parts of the world, vesparan hives typically restrict themselves to fighting and raiding against uncivilized foes such as [[gnolls]] and [[wyverns]], but where the foothold of civilization grows weaker, the hornets may grow brazen and aggressive against even human settlements.

How daring the hive's raids grow depends largely on the queen's personality, and may change generation to generation. However, no hornet queen in history has been shown to wholly shrug off the temptation of conquest; theirs is not a race of farmers and honey-brewers, but of warriors. The lust for battle exists in the heart of every vesparan, even the males, and it must be allowed to out from time to time, or hives may well descend into internal chaos until the most ruthless and violent of all the former queen's handmaidens seizes control and turns her sisters outwards on their neighbors.

Only a rare and miserable hornet-girl is forced to carry her queen's eggs to term herself, unable to best anyone at all in combat. A chemical produced by an egg's shell causes the unwilling host to begin lactating a thick, sweet honey shortly after implantation.

Once laid, a hornet egg typically gestates in its host for ten to twelve days before ejecting itself. Grounded eggs hatch within a matter of minutes, giving rise to small hornets not much larger than a human fist - and yet ravenously hungry. Hornetlings will drink their fill from their host to gain their strength before instinctively flying back to their home hive, where they are raised by their sisters until adulthood.

It is unsurprising that relatively few eggs, once sent into the wild, return to the nest as live young.

Hornets have little history to speak of, as each hive is unto itself a sovereign nation independent of all other hives. The Belharans attempted several times to subjugate the hornets, treating them as a cohesive whole, and failed every time. Some individual queens would bend the knee or sign alliances with outside powers, but the majority are painfully prideful and haughty, refusing to even consider such humiliation. History speaks, on rare occasion, of hornet amazons from dead hives becoming adventurers or even heroes, wielding bronze and poison in the name of some small village or petty kingdom that earned her respect - and often became her new home, soon to be the site of a new hive.

==Society & Culture==
Every hive is different, but most vesparans conform to some universal principles. The queen rules all within and around her hive, commanding the unwavering loyalty of her daughters. She mates rarely, just enough to replenish the hive's numbers and, on occasion, to produce a new handmaiden to become her heir. Most of these handmaidens, each individually selected and groomed from childhood, become hive knights - guardians of the hive and bodyguards to their mother, helping to administrate and raise her lesser daughters. Only a handful of these hive knights will exist at once, perhaps 5% of the hive's total strength at most.

Hornets are itinerant warriors. Even the least of the hive's laborers is expected to b e a master of the war spear and shield, and excepting its males, the entire hive can be mobilized for combat a moment's notice. Any vesparan who cannot hold her own in battle soon finds herself exiled... or dies attempting to prove her mettle, a death worthy of honor among her sisters.

Unlike the peaceful and prosperous beefolk, vesparans do not produce much for themselves, and instead take what they need - often from the bees. In more civilized parts of the world, vesparan hives typically restrict themselves to fighting and raiding against uncivilized foes such as [[gnolls]] and [[wyverns]], but where the foothold of civilization grows weaker, the hornets may grow brazen and aggressive against even human settlements.

How daring the hive's raids grow depends largely on the queen's personality, and may change generation to generation. However, no hornet queen in history has been shown to wholly shrug off the temptation of conquest; theirs is not a race of farmers and honey-brewers, but of warriors. The lust for battle exists in the heart of every vesparan, even the males, and it must be allowed to out from time to time, or hives may well descend into internal chaos until the most ruthless and violent of all the former queen's handmaidens seizes control and turns her sisters outwards on their neighbors.

The egg-laden workers then seek out individuals of the other races and attempt to entice or coerce them into agreeing to being oviposited themselves. When this happens, the worker uses her own ovipositor to penetrate the anus of her chosen "incubator" and lays her load of eggs into their stomach through an act emulating anal sex. The incubator carries the eggs for a period of 60 days and then expels them harmlessly in much the same way they were inserted.
