Arened is a [[Vulperines|Vulperine]] potter living in the [[Vulperine Village]] within the [[Windy Peaks]]. Once a forager for his tribe, one day he came upon a golden-black egg that hatched in his arms as he carried it back to his village. He took the harpy in and developed a fondness for them as her scent marked him as safe for the other harpies in the area who started leaving gifts for him to find and even eggs when the prospecting mother wasn't feeling ready for the task. Through the years he has adopted and fathered many harpies.
