The Elf Guards are comprised of men and women in service of the Royal Guard during the reign of [[Queen Alissa]]. They fell victim to [[Kasyrra]]'s corruption and eagerly partake in the depravities of the palace. You encounter them when they join Guard-Captain [[Jael'yn]] in trying to violently subdue you and your companions during your assault on the [[Palace of Ice]].

You first encounter a group of palace guards standing outside the palace doors, enforcing a decree that none may enter or leave the [[Palace of Ice]]. When you confront Guard-Captain [[Jael'yn]], she summons an endless number of guards to aid her, but they're quick to succumb to their corruption-enhanced libido if you take down their commander. If you try to leave the palace during the events of the quest, the initial group of palace guards will prevent you from leaving.
