Caitriss is a companion you first meet during the events of the tutorial. You're recruited into helping her rescue her sister, Calla, who was abducted by cultists. Once the rescue goes awry, Cait drags you back to town and tends to your wounds. After you've recovered, Cait joins you in your adventures in the hopes of finding her sister and getting revenge on the Demon Cult.

Cait's appearance screen varies depending on TFs, which companion set she's using, whether you've fucked her, as well as other variables. This is the base appearance screen.

If you Skip Tutorial, you skip to a week later, having accompanied Cait to the Abandoned Temple, failed to rescue Calla, and declined Kasyrra's advances. If you Do Nothing, Garth leaves with Cait, and the game ends as the two of them do not return. If you Investigate or Chastise, Cait tearfully recounts how her sister was seized by assailants heading up the mountain. With armaments from Garth, you and Cait head out into the unseasonal blizzard

Outside the town walls, you do battle with the Demon Cult, fighting your way up the mountain to confront Master Tollus. However, despite your best efforts, Calla is thrown through a mysterious portal and Cait is unable to follow. If you were victorious against Tollus, you can choose whether to Comfort Cait or Pursue the villain, but ultimately it doesn't change anything. As you're distracted, the magical energy around the portal flares again as Kasyrra comes through.

After your encounter with the demoness, you come to in the Frost Hound. After the events at the temple, Cait carried you back to town where you've been unconscious for a week. You catch up with Cait about meeting Kasyrra and how the Marches have changed in the last week, and gain the In Her Footsteps and Cat Call quest as the tutorial ends.

Subsequent Encounters

Following the tutorial, Cait is available at The Frost Hound, initially in the Guests tab but moves to Companions once Recruited. She has a range of interactions, including being able to talk with her father through her menu once Cat Call is completed. You can also use Bovum Sherry to transform her along the Boob Cait path. As your companion, she also has a number of interactions during your adventures if she's in the party.

Finding Barney

Upon returning to The Frost Hound, you meet Salwah, Cait's friend from the temple, entertaining the locals. She and Cait catch up, and you learn more about the somewhat controversial circumstances in which Cait left the temple. Salwah's arrival gives Cait an idea though, one she expands upon when you go visit Salwah in her room at the tavern. Cait wants to take the Abandoned Temple and turn it into a Temple of Mallach, which she would run and Salwah would administrate while she's adventuring. This would tie Cait to the Frost Marches, and the church of Mallach.

Help Them: You could definitely see yourself helping to found a new Temple of Mallach here in the Marches. If nothing else, it'll give Cait a new home away from home, and a reason to stick around for the long term.

If you choose No Thanks, you explain that you aren't interested in building a temple to Mallach by Hawkethorne, and the matter ends there. If you approach Cait during Halloween (October 1-November 31), have had sex with Cait, are not a vaginal or anal virgin (which depends on whether Buttslut Mode is enabled), and have met Lady Evergreen in Cat Call, you can proc an event while meeting her in the tavern. She's delved into the dark lore to try and open a portal to summon Calla. If you Sit In, something else comes through instead.

Sit In: Sure, you can sit in and see what Cait gets herself into. Surely she won't summon some kind of eldritch fuckbeast in this most auspicious of seasons...

Anal

She's so nervous! What's this all about? Cait's usually so forthright about what she wants. You give her a questioning look, and Cait's blush deepens to a tomato red spread across both cheeks. I've given so much of myself over to Mallach's teachings, but there was always just, I don't know, some part of me that wanted to save something special for... y'know, somebody special. Despite her training to become a divine harlot of Mallach, Cait has made a point of preserving her anal virginity. Unfortunately, there are many hostile encounters in the game who threaten it if you lose with Cait in the party.

If Cait is claimed in defeat sex, then her Anal options unlock from her Sex menu. However, if you can preserve Cait's backdoor chastity until completing Cat Call, then the next time you proposition Cait for sex, you'll get a special one-time scene where you can be Cait's somebody special. Alternatively, there's a special option in Salwah's sex menu where you can make it a group affair.

Pregnancy

Cait is sterile and unable to have children for the time being. However, if you lose to the Drider Queen or Hornets with Cait in the party, Cait can be impregnated with eggs. See Drider Cait Pregnancy and Hornet Cait Pregnancy for more details. You can discuss Eggs with her while she's pregnant, and give her Ovilixer to help accelarate the process. If you're with Cait at the time, there are special laying and hatching scenes as well.
