The Effigies are the spawn of the Alraune and some other fortunate or unfortunate soul that appear in the [[Old Forest]].

These daughters live to serve their mother, the Alraune, bringing the best to be fertilized by her, and to spread her glade throughout all the land. The Effigies are the mutated result of the Alraune and Kasyrra, in which Kasyrra had promised the Alraune that she would make many more with the people of the forest. These daughters live to serve their mother, the Alraune, bringing the best to be fertilized by her, and to spread her glade throughout all the land. From their mother's teachings, the winner of the fight must ravish the loser. The effigies produce rich amber nectar from their blooming flower-like nipples, and musky purple goo as their cum.

Normally the Effigies consist of effigies and an archer, but once the Champion is at least level 3, an effigy pollinator appears with them. If the Alraune has been defeated but not killed, the effigies have been instructed to only bring in the people who want to have fun, as well as to return the forest to its original state through planting flowers and clearing dead wood, however it is boring work. Their boredom can be alleviated by sparring, if the Champion is willing, which will result in a combat encounter with a tougher group of Effigies; the Effigy Sureshots and Blossom.

If the Alraune is killed, the Effigies will no longer appear. Additionally, if the Alraune is spared, based on the number of Effigy Seeds planted by the Champion vs a randomly generated number, can reduce the Effigies encounter rate by 1/3rd (guaranteed reduction if 100 seeds planted).

First Encounter

While meandering through the forest, the Champion begins to notice a particularly sweet smell. Following the source, they find a trio of green-skinned women dancing through the trees. When they notice the Champion, one of them prances towards them, happy that new friends have come to play, and one of her identical sisters states to not let them escape. With that, a fight breaks out.

Subsequent Interactions

Subsequent encounters will have the Champion's forest trek be interrupted by a gust of potent aroma. Turning to face the source reveals a trio of green-hued plant girls stalking them through the underbrush.

If the Champion is at least level 3, the Effigy Pollinator will replace an Effigy.

Defeating the effigies in combat will result in the following options:

The more the Champion gets impregnated with an Alraune seed, and decides to Plant It afterwards, gradually reduces the chances in encountering the effigies. Should this choice occur a total of 100 times will guarantee that the Champion will not encounter these effigies anymore.

Talk

After defeating a roaming band of Effigies, asking them of what they are will have their leader explain that they are daughters of the great Mother Alraune, seeds that have been fertilized and born to server her. When asked where their mother is, the trio echo that if they had wanted to visit her, they should have just bent over, as the best fertilizers are taken back to Mother so make more siblings. But, if the Champion insists on visiting her by themselves, they can find her in her garden on the river just before the old stone bridge. When asked why her mother has need of so many daughters now, they state that she made a deal with the winged grandmother to make enough daughters to take everybody in that stupid village, so that Mother will breed them forever and ever, just like Grandmother wanted. Given that information, the Champion decides that it's time to pay this Mother Alraune a visit.

Effigies will assist in defending the Effigy Herald and The Alraune.

During the events of Dog Days, when searching for Westbank, if the Champion lacks the Hunter background, they will face three waves of enemies, with the second being the effigies.

While not specifically these effigies, effigies make numerous appearances in Wayfort related content if the Alraune was spared.

Post-Alraune Defeat

First Encounter

As the Champion meanders through the forest, they catch the familiar scent of effigies, however, the scent has changed from its original sickly enticing nature to something more inviting. Following the scent leads to a small clearing in which several effigies are tending to flowers. One of the effigies notices the Champion and shifts uncomfortably, unsure of how to start considering they had subjugated their mother. The effigies look amongst themselves, and the first one who noticed is silently elected to speak as she explains that their mother had a change of mind; they are not to bother people any more, unless they come to them first. When asked that they're doing, she explains that they're fixing the forest by planting flowers and clearing dead wood, however, it's very boring work and the only fun they have is the uncommon encounter with one of the hornets out on patrol. The effigy then gets an idea, asking the Champion if they want to have a go at them, just like old times, and that they'll make it worth their while if they win or lose. With that, the following options will become available:

Subsequent Encounters

Similar to the first encounter, the sweet scent of nectar in the wind leads the Champion to a trio of effigies hard at work. They are immediately excited upon seeing the Champion and ask what brings them to the forest. They explain that they're checking up on the effigies' work, but they can see that the effigies look terribly bored. They affirm that they are, and ask if the Champion would like to play with them.

This results in the same options as the first post-defeat encounter.
