The Effigies are the spawn of the Alraune and some other fortunate or unfortunate soul that appear in the Old Forest.

Appearance
You find yourself staring at a trio of green-skinned women dancing through the trees. At first you think they're orcs, wreathed in vines and flowers... but it quickly becomes obvious that their features are far too soft and delicate to be members of that race — lack of tusks aside — and the plant matter they wear appears to be...

Appearance
Your forest trek is interrupted by a sudden gust of wind that brings with it the potent aroma of flowers and nectar. Turning to face the breeze you spot a trio of the same green-hued plant-girls you've fought before, stalking through the underbrush towards you.
One of the three is slightly different from the rest: silky red hair spills down her shoulders, and her breasts are far bigger than her sisters'. More noticeable than even that palette shift though, is the thick, footlong, green tentacle-dick that hangs heavily from her loins. She whirls a staff in her hands before levelling the long oaken rod at you in challenge.
Combat Stats
The Effigy Pollinators will make their appearance when the Champion is at least level 3, otherwise, another Effigy will take her place. When present, the Effigy Pollinator takes position as head of the group.

First Encounter
While meandering through the forest, the Champion begins to notice a particularly sweet smell. Following the source of the aroma, the Champion finds a trio of green-skinned women dancing through the trees. They notice the Champion as one of them prances towards them, happy that new friends have come to play, and one of her identical sisters orders to not let them escape, and they begin the fight.

Subsequent Interactions
Trekking through the forest, a sudden gust of wind bringing a potent aroma of nectar and flowers alerts the Champion to the presence of a trio of effigies stalking them in the underbrush. The Effigy Archer or Pollinator will command her sisters to get the Champion and shout a battlecry for Mother Alraune.
The more fertilized effigies the Champion provides, the encounter rate for the effigies decreases slightly.
Upon defeating the effigies, the Effigy Archer will comment that the Champion isn't just some ordinary villager, and she along with her sisters surrender, and with that the following options will become available:
- Nipfuck - These planty beauties have vagina-like slits in their tits, leaking sweet nectar. Fuck 'em. (requires a cock)
- Tentacles - These girls have plenty of tentacles between them, more than enough for all your holes. Take advantage of them all... (if has a vagina; Champion knockup chance)
- Fertilize - Give these planty beauties exactly what they wanted... (requires a cock and is not Impotent)
- Fuck Her - Nope.
- Get Fucked - Hell yeah.
- RidePollinator - That pollinator has a big, throbbing cock between her legs that looks so turgid you can't help but want to get your [vag/ass] on it... (requires an Effigy Pollinator)
- Talk - What the hell is these girls' deal? (while hasn't learned about the Alraune by encountering her or talking to the Forest Kitsune about Bridge)
Being defeated by the effigies will have the normal ones squabble over who gets dibs over the Champion, before being overruled by the Effigy Archer or Pollinator, and the following scenes may occur:
- GroupTentacles (50% chance to occur if has 2 sexable Companions, and if has a vagina; Champion knockup chance)
- Milk (written by The Observer) (requires at least C cup tits and is Milky, and results in getting milked)
- Suck (written by The Observer) (requires a cock)
- Violation (written by The Observer) (requires a vagina, and Champion knockup chance)
- Breathplay (written by birbstie) (50% chance to occur, and results in Bruised and Beaten)
Talk
Having surrendered, the Champion will slowly approach the defeated trio, asking what they are; Champions with the Scholar or Hunter backgrounds will note that although they are reminded of dryads, the effigies aren't fey. The Effigy Archer will state that they are the daughters of the great mother Alraune and they're born to serve her. They go on to then ask where their mother is, which causes the trio to perk up as the archer speaks that if the Champion just wanted to visit their mother, they should have just bent over, as they take the best fertilizers back to her. Although if the Champion wishes visit her themselves, they can find her garden, which is on the river before the old stone bridge. They will then ask why does their mother needs so many daughters, in which the archer replies that their mother made a deal with winged grandmother, so that their mother can make enough daughters to take everyone in the village down south back home so that their mother can breed them all forever, just like grandmother wanted.
This will also advance In Her Footsteps to state 2.

Really? Seriously? You lost to the punching bag monsters of this game? The monsters that we designed to be painfully weak so people wouldn't complain about not being able to get started on the combat? I'm amazed that you somehow managed to do this — or did you throw the fight so that you could see the loss scenes for this encounter?
