'''Marae's lethicite''' is the crystallized soul of the goddess [[Marae]] and is a [[Key Items|key item]]. It can only be obtained if the champion chooses to shut down the [[Demon Factory|factory]] by overloading the storage tanks. The demonic fluids corrupt Marae, and upon revisiting her the champion has the option of attempting to steal her lethicite. The chance of success is dependent on the character's speed stat, and characters with the [[Perks#Evade|Evade]] perk have an additional 2/3 chance of success. Characters with always fail, though failing to steal the lethicite is the only way to obtain [[Perks#Marae's Gift - Profractory|Marae's Gift - Profractory]] or [[Perks#Marae's Gift - Buttslut|Marae's Gift - Buttslut]].

As with all lethicite crystals, Marae's lethicite contains magical power. Since Marae was a goddess, her lethicite is large and more powerful than most, and can be used in a variety of ways. The crystal can be used a total of 3 times before its power is exhausted
* [[Rathazul]] can use the crystal to create a canopy of thorns around the champion's campsite, preventing the imp gangbang night-time encounter.
* A piece can be given to the [[Hellhound Master|hellhound master]] in exchange for the [[Perks#Hellfire|Hellfire]] perk. If player has not used the crystal so far, they also have the option of giving the entire crystal to the hellhound master, leading to a [[Bad Ends|bad end]].
* If [[Jojo]] has been corrupted, the champion can use a piece of the lethicite to mutate Jojo into 'tentacle Jojo'.
