Adult cockvine are found in the deep caverns on Myrellion.

Hydrus Constuprula, better known by its colloquial name Cockvine, is a mobile, parasitic, invasive, troglophile plant species native to Myrellion. It is endemic to large parts of the Myrellion underground, a status acknowledged by both sides of the on-going Myr conflict to be a result of its historical use as a biological weapon. A Class A non-sentient species, it is illegal for it to be transported or for individuals seeded by it to travel outside Myrellion.

Appearance

You are trapped by a cockvine. In the heavy darkness of its nest you can just about make out the rapacious plant creature’s limbs writhing busily over the rock and around you: dark green stems thick enough that you cannot get your hand fully around them, tipped with blunt, purple helmet-like heads, oozing white seed from their tips. They are attempting to draw you further downwards, towards the broad trunk of the thing, where it can secure you completely in its grasp. The harder you struggle the more vigorously they in turn seem to act, as if energized by your own movements. The tropical heat and smell of the creature is overwhelming - a heady, cloying herbal atmosphere which seems to permeate through your whole being, making you feel cloudy and limp.

History

Hydrus Constuprula originates from the small continent of Irskand, and was discovered and classified by the former Red Myr nation of Harokees circa three hundred years ago. A bleak and inhospitable place even by Myrellion standards, the plant form had evolved to suit Irskand and was not particularly widespread. Harokees was at this time locked in a violent dispute with the Gold Myr over the relatively untouched landmass of Undandin; seeing its potential to disrupt Gold attempts to cultivate the Undandin fungus fields, the Red military approved cockvine’s covert release into Gold territory. The species duly exploded in population, spreading well beyond Undandin to infect virtually every corner of the Myrellion underground, despite a number of poorly coordinated joint efforts on the part of the Myr to wipe it out.

The internecine warfare between the Myr, Nyrea and the Bothrioc and the subsequent movement of peoples, breakdown of infrastructure and land wastage has only increased cockvine’s spread. The plant is also recorded as being used by both sides of the Myr conflict as a form of sadistic punishment on prisoners of war; once a kept plant has finished with captives they are released deep in their home territory, with the explicit hope of their offspring spreading chaos there. This practice is expressly forbidden by international law.

Interactions

When encountered, cockvine have a randomized chance of being hostile to the player character, with the odds variance based on Reflexes. If the player character does not encounter a hostile cockvine, a couple options are available:

• Leave - Do not approach the cockvine and ignore it.
• Go On... - Willingly give up to the cockvine, resulting in sex.

Encountering cockvine when the player character is a Bimbo/Slut, Treated, or has a Bothrioc perk, and having a current willpower under 15%, the player character may willingly enact sex with the cockvine anyway.

Combat

---

Upon encountering, hostile adult cockvines will engulf the the player character in its nest making fleeing difficult or impossible.

Combat actions include:

• Cockvine Grip - Status effect that reduces evasion and constricts the player character. Effect may also sap energy and raise lust of the player character.
• Whip - Basic physical attack, with up to 3-5 strikes, that causes penetrating kinetic damage to the player character.
• Mouth Fuck - Basic lust attack causing 3-7 of base lust damage to the player character if successful.
• Constrict - Causes kinetic damage. To break free from a Constrict attack, the player character should have over 65% physique or reflexes (whichever is higher).
• Mow THIS - If successful, temporarily disables the player character's combat attack drone for 3-5 turns.
• Grenades in Enclosed Spaces - A passive counter measure where any grenades used can have a 50% chance to backfire on the player character, resulting in kinetic damage or lust damage (depending on the grenade used).

Resistances:

• 50% immunity to kinetic attacks
• 50% weakness to burning attacks
• 100% immunity to lust attacks

The cockvine is not susceptible to Tease attacks so the player character will be unable to Sense any lust-based strengths or weaknesses.

Because the cockvine engulfs the player character whole, the Run option is replaced with Struggle, with the success chance based on either the Physique or Reflexes percentage. If a Tech specialist has the Static Burst ability, it can be used to break free from the Cockvine Grip.

Losing to adult cockvine during battle will result in the cockvine ejaculating excessive amounts of semen in the player character's mouth, anus, and vagina(s), which may impregnate the player character (if the character has at least one vagina).

Sex actions include:

• Consentacles - Allow the cockvines to have their way with the player character.

Having sex with adult cockvine may result in pregnancy (if the player character has at least one vagina).

Loot/Items/Equipment

Cockvine drop no loot or credits but is worth 250 XP.

In addition, if the player character is impregnated by adult cockvine (10% chance), after gestation (a period of about 6 days), the player character will birth a number of cockvine seedlings. After birth, there will be an option of capturing one of them. If captured, the seedling will be placed in the nursery.
