FoE Stats
Stats
Stats are the backbone of your character and companions, and describe your various attributes. There are ten different primary stats in Fall of Eden: HP, SP, LP, strength, stamina, dexterity, intelligence, spirit, charisma and libido.
While it is not necessary to understand every detail of your stats in order to play the game, this knowledge can help in determining your party's composition. A rogue character may choose to focus on strength and dexterity, while a seduction-based character may choose to invest in charisma and libido. A greater explanation of your basic stats are as below:
Primary Stats
Base Value
This is the base value of a stat. It can be increased or decreased up to a limit by various events such as working on Gwendy's farm, or by drinking transformative potions. Base values are considered relatively small bonuses, and as a character gains in level are usually considered negligible.
Growth
This is the multiplier for a stat, and is what you change when you add points to your stats when you level up. Each rank in a stat is worth 0.1 additional growth from a base of 1, such that a character with three levels in intelligence will have a growth value of 1.3 for that stat.
HP
HP is a measure of how much punishment you can take. When your HP falls to 0, you are considered incapacitated and unable to fight.
Your HP is determined by the following equation:
Base value*level*10*growth + ((Spirit+Stamina)/2)^1/3
SP
SP is a measure of your energy. It is required to use many spells and abilities, primarily in physical and magical jobs.
Your SP is determined by the following equation:
Base value*level*10*growth + ((Stamina+Intelligence+Spirit)/3)^1/3
LP
LP is a measure of how turned on you can be. It is required to fuel many abilities granted by seduction jobs. Some abilities may only be used when the caster or target is turned on enough, and it also has effects on the strength of various statuses.
Targets with a full LP bar may be rendered unable to take their turn.
Your LP is determined by the following equation:
Base value*level*10*growth + Libido^1/3
Armor Modifier
This stat is a measure of how well-protected you are. The higher it is, the less damage you will take, especially against physical attacks.
Attack Modifier
This stat is a measure of how fearsome your weapon is. The higher it is, the more damage you will deal when using it in combat.
Strength
Strength determines how much damage you can deal with physical attacks. It is the primary determinant of your physical attack.
Stamina
Stamina is a measure of how long you can keep going. It affects your HP, SP, physical attack, magic defense, lust defense, and is the main determinant of your physical defense.
Dexterity
Dexterity is a measure of your character's swiftness. It is the main determinant of your initiative gain, and also affects your physical attack, lust attack, chance to hit and chance to evade.
Intelligence
Intelligence is the primary stat of magic-based characters. It is the main deteminant of magic attack, but also affects sp, initiative gain, chance to hit and chance to evade.
Spirit
Spirit is a measure of how well you can take punishment from otherworldly forces. It is the main determinant of magic defense, but also affects your SP, physical defense, magic attack and lust defense.
Charisma
Charisma is a measure of how attractive and assertive you are. It is the main determinant of lust attack, but also influences chance to hit, chance to evade, and magic attack.
Libido
Libido is a measure of how attuned to sexual forces your character is. Together with charisma, it is the main determinant of lust attack, but also influences maximum LP. It also affects how much LP your character gains while out of combat.
Determination of base stats from strength to libido all follow the following equation: growth*level+base stat value.
Secondary Stats
Initiative
Your initiative is a measure of how fast your character moves. When your initiative reaches 100, you get to take your turn. 100 initiative is then subtracted from your total, and so forth.
Initiative per round is calculated via:
SQRT(2*dex+int)
Physical attack
This is a measure of how good you are at hitting things hard. Your basic attack is this, as well as physical abilities. It is determined by:
((3*Strength+Stamina+Dexterity)/2)*Attack Modifier
Physical Defense
This is a measure of how good you are at absorbing blows. It is determined by:
(3*Stamina+Spirit)*Armor Modifier
Physical Hit
A measure of how likely you are able to hit or miss. It is determined by:
3*Dexterity+Intelligence+Charisma
Physical Evade
A measure of how likely you are able to evade physical blows thrown at you. It is determined by:
3*Dexterity+Intelligence+Charisma
Magic Attack
A measure of how strong your spells are. It is determined by:
3*Intelligence+Spirit+Charisma
Magic Defense
A measure of how well you are able to resist magic. It is determined by:
3*Spirit+Stamina
Lust Attack
A measure of how sexy you are and your skill at turning others on. Your basic tease attack uses this, as well as seduction-based abilities. It is determined by:
(2*Charisma+2*Libido+Dex)/2
Lust Defense
A measure of how in control of your emotions and desires you are. It is determined by:
2*(Stamina+Spirit)
Assigning Stats for Builds
In short, Fall of Eden is set up such that while a character who specialises in a task will be better than one who does not, the latter character will not be utterly helpless if forced into a role.
-Physical attackers should invest in strength and dexterity. -Tanks should invest in stamina and spirit. -Magicians can do intelligence, but stamina and spirit should not be neglected. -Seduction-based characters can focus on charisma and libido.
