The White Book, or White Spellbook, is one of the two books you can use to learn magic spells to use in combat. As the name implies, the White Book can teach you white (soul-based) spells.

Effect

The effects vary depending on the PC's Intelligence.

  • 80 Intelligence or more gives +0.6
  • 60-79 Intelligence gives +1
  • 30-59 Intelligence gives +2
  • Less than 30 Intelligence gives +4

You also learn one of three White Spells provided your intelligence is high enough and you haven't already learned them all.

  • Charge Weapon requires 25 Intelligence.
  • Blind requires 30 Intelligence.
  • Whitefire requires 40 Intelligence.

Notes

  • Oswald will purchase the White Book for 20 gems.
  • The Anemone Kid only has a chance of bringing her parent White Books once she reaches 50 XP and will stop doing so after reaching 75 XP or more. Also, while she does accept Black Books, she will never find them.
