The severe tar-black of its limbs, shoulder-length hair and pupil-less eyes contrasts with the ghostly pale skin that stretches across its flat chest, supple bum and featureless groin, an uncompromising chiaroscuro that in the dim light seems flawless, untouchable. Unlike their cousins, the [[Bothrioc Pidemme|Bothrioc Pidemme]] who, similar to the [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolf_spider wolf] and [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomisidae crab] spiders in that they hunt, fight, and force themselves on their prey, Quadommes use traditional and [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_trapdoor_spiders trap door] spider strategies by creating a grid or web of their extremely sticky and durable silk and connecting it to their home in the cave roof. When a poor creature gets stuck in the web the bothrioc will descend upon them, tie them up with their silk, and breed them. This method means that they don't collect breeding partners as quickly as the Pidemmes, but capturing them is easier and more reliable. It also helps they produce more oil.

When the player encounters a Bothrioc Quadomme Web, they will be given a strength test* to break free. If they break free before the Dominatrix opens the trap door, they will patronize you for escaping and will politely ask for you to breed with them, but won't force themselves on you. You can say ''''Yes''', resulting in the Dominatrix breeding you for a few hours; '''No''', which will end the encounter peacefully; or '''Fight Back''', which will start the fight. To do so they must make Ara's case on their behalf which will initiate an '''Intelligence''' test. If they pass it while outside of the Web they will agree to come and leave the PC in peace. If the PC is in the Web however, they will still try to have sex you after agreeing to come. Note that if you fight them off and subsequently sleep with them, they will change their mind. I just ran into a new (at least i think she's new) character called Minuet,
I loaded up my file, moved once, and had an event pop up "You are being watched." in bold, then some more text that I didn't really read.
