Ever since she was a little girl Kimberly, or Kimber, has always wanted to grow up to become a scientist. Unfortunately due to the socially stagnant, laid back, and misogynistic nature of [[New Texas]] culture, many of her peers and family members constantly dissuaded her from such pursuits.

When she finally turned 18, she was forced to take her state mandated [[Treatment_Medipen|Treatment]].
