"Panara is a world hindered by low temperatures and slow growing seasons. What it does have going for it is strategic placement between three important solar systems and low land prices. Because of this, [[JoyCo]] built a factory on Panara during the tenth great planet rush in order to build its assist-bot range, taking advantage of not only the planet's galactic position but also its lax labor laws.

A number of loyal [[ausar]] JoyCo employees able to handle the harsh winter climates have migrated to Panara over the years. While not technically a sub-species, the Ausar of Panara tend to have thicker fur and tend to be more ‘winter built’ than Ausar elsewhere in the galaxy. Humans, of course, go anywhere cash is to be made.

Since JoyCo set up on Panara, several other enterprises have sprung up on the pivotal industry planet. While JoyCo has the largest factory on the planet, [[KihaCorp]] and [[Pyrite Industries]] also have industrial facilities there. It is not unusual for big corporations to hold military-related drills on Panara, taking advantage of the tundra planet’s wide open spaces and tight-lipped planetary government.

Panara lacks a lot of culture and has no known recorded indigenous native races. If there is one, neither JoyCo nor the local government have ever recorded its existence.
