 The fur around her mouth, and cupping underneath her eyes, have long, thick streaks of grey; her shoulder-length hair has turned duller and darker compared to her brighter fur; and the rounded tips of her ears are flayed and unkempt with loose ends. Her hands remain steady, but the fur is matted and grey starting at the wrist and going to her fingers – her left hand is even missing a bit of fur.
 Despite all the signs of her age, she is far from over the hill, and she carries herself like she knows it.
