:::I checked the [https://wiki.smutosaur.us/TiTS/index.php?title=Special:Categories&offset=&limit=500 categories section] and there were still lots, but I fixed most of them. I also found a lot of categories with CoC Files, so I marked most of them with the <nowiki>{{delete}}</nowiki>, which is what other wikis normally do when they mark files for deletion. You can find a list of pages I marked for deletion [https://wiki.smutosaur.us/TiTS/Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Delete here]. Some pages I didn't mark for deletion, because there were too many so i'll link the categories here: [[:Category:Transformation items(CoC)]][[:Category:NPC]][[:Category:Items (CoC)]][[:Category:Consumables (CoC)]].

::::: I nuked an absolute shitload of CoC pages; I think I've probably got like 95% of them now. --[[User:Gedan|Gedan]] ([[User talk:Gedan|talk]]) 20:47, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Version Stamps

Would it be possible to have new content added with a debut version stamp somewhere on the page? This assumes that most of the new content added to the wiki is being added roughly concurrently to the actual game updates. If that ends up being too much hassle, I can see how that might happen. Beladonna (talk) 06:53, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

There's probably something that could be done with DPL generation to automate the display end. It would need some thinking as to how best to pull it all together though; I'd need to do some research but I vaguely remember there is some kind of data-organisation thing in MediaWiki such that you can query things from other pages. Adding "new content" to an existing page using that, and then having DPL to figure out what the most recent set of changes are might work. --Gedan (talk) 08:24, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
[1] This might be able to do it. When I get some free time I'll have a try and see how it works out. This may also offer some other advantages too though; convert things like game items into cargo data, and then use that data both on the items own page but also in various indexes to allow for automatically updated values etc. ("List of armor" > "Sort by defense" type things") --Gedan (talk) 08:49, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
Just to be clear we are both on the same subject, I'm referring to the version of the game that a feature or item was first added (in a working capacity) Though I admit that is an interesting extension concept. Being able to consolidate all the item data in one place and have other pages pull from there seems like it would save a lot of formatting work. Beladonna (talk) 09:41, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
Yes, I think so. I think the easiest way to manage the root capability (that is, showing some 'latest changes' list on the Main Page that aligns with game patches, as opposed to 'last updated pages on the Wiki') will be to have some extra data around that can be queried and displayed in different ways. Say a new scene is added to an NPC, the most logical thing to do would be to have an "Updates" subsection on each NPC page, that declares update information (say, the game version number the change was made, the type of change and a note about what the change entailed specifically). If that information can then be queried by other pages, then automated lists can be built that won't require maintainence past making sure the source data is available. Being able to do more things with it (like also formatting item information in a similar manner) and build yet more automatically updated summary systems serves to increase the value and usability of the wiki and the information it contains. --Gedan (talk) 01:39, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Removing (TiTS) from Categories

Would it be possible to run a bot through the wiki and remove all the "_(TiTS)" from categories? Thanks!--Lashcharge (talk) 23:10, 7 December 2016 (UTC)

I'll look at it probably later tonight. I think I'll have to clear some pages out first, all of the old CoC and FoE pages will still be in this DB import iirc. --Gedan (talk) 01:39, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
I did some mass replace action. I think I got all of the instances of (TiTS) moved over to versions of pages that no longer include it, but there might be a few still kicking around in places. Or pages that didn't properly end up with a REDIRECT created for whatever reason. --Gedan (talk) 02:33, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
I checked the categories section and there were still lots, but I fixed most of them. I also found a lot of categories with CoC Files, so I marked most of them with the {{delete}}, which is what other wikis normally do when they mark files for deletion. You can find a list of pages I marked for deletion here. Some pages I didn't mark for deletion, because there were too many so i'll link the categories here: Category:Transformation items(CoC)Category:NPCCategory:Items (CoC)Category:Consumables (CoC).
Either way thanks for all the work. :P--Lashcharge (talk) 16:08, 8 December 2016 (UTC)
