Dreams are special scenes that will only appear while the player is asleep, usually on their ship, in Trials in Tainted Space. Many dreams have certain requirements to trigger them, when a particular dream becomes available due to the PC meeting all the necessary requirements for the scene, the scene will take priority over all other dreams before being added to a randomized pool. Most dreams are of a sexual nature and will trigger an orgasm while you are sleeping.

Notes: If the player has the Sleep Fapnea machine on their ship, then it can be set to one of four modes
- Repeat - Prioritizes saved dreams causing the PC to experience that particular dream every time they sleep on their ship, regardless of if they still meet the requirements.
- Free - Causes the PC to experience a dream every night
- Chaste - Causes the PC to not experience dreams
- Off - No effect on dreams
Notes: During the Seasonal Event period of Halloween (October 26 - November 2), the likelihood of viewing a dream doubles, and several new dreams become available.
