Description

The Milodan Infiltrator is the most common and basic enemy to appear prowling the Korg'ii Hold in The Siege of the Korg'ii Hold Quest.

Appearance

"Wearing a tight-fitting helmet and clad in a black infiltration suit, the man looks from left to right, clearly searching for an opening to get some distance and open up on you with the large laser rifle he’s carrying. In the meantime, he holds an automatic sidearm in his right hand, trying to track your movement with it so he can get shots in. Knowing that if he misses it’ll be a free opportunity for you to attack, he’s hesitant to fire, waiting for you to do something."
" He seems to have a small pouch of flashbangs on his waist, as well."
" He also has a small knife honed to a razor edge, and though his skill with it s questionable, it’ll still put a hole in you if he connects."

History/Personality/Information of Note

The Milodan Infiltrator is a member of a Tribe of Milodans who for generations have tried and failed to subjugate the Korgonne of Ula's tribe. Conflicts rose to a boiling point leading to Ula's Father hiding his people away in a well concealed and nigh impenetrable citadel. Recently however, one of the Priestesses of his tribe was reached out to by Pyrite Industries and has successfully managed to arm all of her tribes warriors with alien weapons, gadgets, and drugs to help find the hold and lay a dangerously powerful Siege that the Korgonne will have no chance of surviving.

This particular warrior is fairly average and still getting a handle on alien technology and society.

Interactions

The Infiltrators will be encountered throughout the Siege of the Korg'ii Hold Quest randomly in nearly any room accept near Ula and her father's bedroom, Maja's stables, Nenne's shop, and Tuuva's forge. There is a chance that he will be holding either Heidrun or Lund hostage. Defeating him will free the hostage and increase your score by 10. Defeating this enemy while he doesn't have a hostage increases score by 5. Fleeing from this enemy decreases score by 5.

Combat

The moves the Milodan Infiltrator uses are dependent heavily on the amount of energy and health he has left. The lower it becomes certain attacks are unlocked and he becomes more likely to use them. Additionally, unlike most enemies that wield 2 weapons, this enemy uses 3: a rebranded Pyrite Industries Mark III Laser Pistol, Laser Carbine, and Shock Blade. As well as a rebranded version JoyCo Shield Generator (Basic). Also, he can be fled from.

Move Set

The following is a list of Infiltrator moves. As the number gets higher, so does the threshold needed for him to use the move.

Disarmed Boxing - The Milodan must now resort to boxing the player now that he's been disarmed
- Activates when he loses his ranged weapons but before he uses Now this is a Knoiff

Pistol Fake-Out - The Infiltrator leaps backwards while shooting his Pistol haphazardly. When the player closes the distance he will shoot them at point blank with his rifle.
- Switches main weapon to the rifle.
Pistol Spray - The Infiltrator finds and opening and shoots you.
- Despite being called "Pistol Spray" he actually fires whatever is the main weapon.
Rifle Counter - The Infiltrator leaps forward and tries to smash your head in with the Butt of his rifle. As you block it he shoots you with his Pistol at point blank.
- Switches main weapon to the pistol.
Flashy Bang Bang - The Infiltrator will throw a Flashbang. If it blinds the player, he will shoot the player with his ranged weapon.
- Causes blindness.
  - Expends 20 points of energy
Now this is a Knoiff - The Infiltrator pulls out a concealed knife and attempts to psychotically shank you.
- Will only use when health is low or energy equals 0.
  - Deals many low accuracy and low damage attacks.
Now this is a Knoiff Mk. II - The Infiltrator will enter a zen-like Beserker state and attempts to stab you with deadly intent.
- Will only use when health is critically low
  - Deals 1 high accuracy high damage attack
