Most Nova operators are ex-military, especially their officers, and many have battle experience. Moreover, their equipment is state of the art, both for ground personnel and aboard their ships.

Private security forces are a necessity out on the fringes of the known universe, and Nova Securities has expanded to fill that gap. They provide everything from small mercenary armies to private bodyguards. They have a reputation for fulfilling their contracts to the letter or dying trying.
