Description
A resident who lives in Apartment 107 on the east side of the residential deck, located on Tavros Station. Following a schedule, he can also be found outside his home, playing 4-D chess on the north-west plaza of the residential deck between the hours of 12:00 and 17:00.
Appearance
Semith is a 4'11” maroon-skinned vulkrim. He isn't squat or dwarf-like, his thin but fairly muscular frame entirely proportional to his size. Like most vulkrimi he has had the majority of his natural carapace armor removed, retaining only the two covering his shoulders, like two shiny black shoulder-guards. His skin is smooth, hairless and looks like it might be quite stretchy. However, he has gene-modded himself so he has dark brown, human-like hair on his head: shoulder length and swept back on his scalp, crafted into arching brows and an immaculate beard on his face. He has a narrow but quite handsome face, with a strong, roman nose, high cheekbones and pointed ears, and sports a pair of small, curved horns. He dresses as smartly as he grooms, in a casual blazer, cotton shirt and trousers.
His most obviously alien feature is his big, scorpion-like tail, bursting out above his thin, athletic butt and curving right around over his head. He has had it de-stung, so it simply has a blunt, ankylosaurus-like tip - albeit with a curious, horizontal slit.
Altogether he gives the impression of what Lucifer might look like, were he a quite small, semi-retired businessman giving it some casual charm.
History/Personality/Information of Note
Semith seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge about Steele Tech and Captain Steele...
He has a somewhat indifferent attitude when it comes to corporate entities and has had a brief history in piracy.
As far as his personality goes, he is pretty laid back and often likes to relax for the most part.
Interactions
Steele can first meet Semith when he is outside his home. When encountered, Semith will ask Steele to Play him in a game of chess. If agreed, Steele can talk to him during the match and he will later invite Steele to his home.
When playing chess, Steele may have a random chance of winning, varied by Steele's current I.Q. Regardless of the outcome, playing the game will give Steele a slow intelligence gain. Steele can only play Semith in one match per day, however.
During Semith's active hours at home, Steele can Knock on his apartment door to be let inside. From there, Steele can choose to smoke some Roshan Blue with him or be his Booty Call.
Smoking with Semith will temporarily boost Steele's XP gains by 25% at the cost of dropping willpower by 30%. The effect will last until Steele decides to properly sleep it off. Semith will only smoke once per day.
Semith is one of the characters who can cameo during Slave Sera's walk punishment.
Talk
Semith's expanded talks are available when he is playing chess. He can talk about how he knows Steele, the Vulkrimi and Himself.
