Description

The Pleasure Bot Mk 350, Empatron version, are basic V.I.-controlled pleasure bots that seem to have invaded parts of Tarkus. In the wastes, they appear to come in two physical genders, male and female, their directives are relatively the same and their main function is to extract fluids from their partner using various sexual tools and procedures. The robot's name sometimes written as "sexbot".

Less specifically, sex bots come in many different varieties and are usually built and purchased for engaging in acts of sexual gratification. Many large companies may have a branch dedicated to manufacturing sex bots. The word "sex bot" can be used as a blanket term for all robots, automatons, cyborgs, and androids that have at least one sexual-related function, as well as a derogatory term for any mechanical life-form who shows hints of sexual interest.

Appearance

Man-bot:

It stands 6’ tall. The gray fiber cable which forms the core of its adaptable body is padded with silicone and plated by a sheer white latex coating, gleaming wetly as it moves and catches the light. It serves to highlight its fit, supple body: its ropey, hard-looking hips and waist, its pert bum and the slight suggestions of ripples and plateaus of muscle underneath its latex combine to create a vision of beguiling, skilfully understated masculinity. This subtlety is rather undermined by the thick, white 8 inch penis which swings bluntly between its swimmer’s thighs; it pulses occasionally with a warm, red light. Framed by its spiky, plastic haircut its synthetic face is defined, calm, blandly beautiful, the smile curling its full lips small and confident. If its skin was tan and its eyes weren’t a backlit, flickering green it could have stepped fully formed from a deodorant advert. Entirely at odds to its calm, benign appearance, the four fibrous, flexible robo-tentacles the sexbot has sprouted out of its back circle their rubber-tipped grippers above its head, grabbing and clutching the air restlessly.

Fem-bot:

Interactions

Sex bots usually ambush individuals who they perceive as needing sexual attention, and if their scanners detect a high enough lust value, they will perform a sexual intercourse and fluid-extraction procedure. They commonly call their victims "insert name here".

They are involved on a mission assigned by Colenso.

Combat

When encountered, the sex bot will scan its 'victim' to determine which sex role to change into. If the victim is male, the encounter rate of sex bots seem to be 75% fem-bots and 25% man-bots. The reverse is true for female victims, 75% male sex bots and 25% female sex bots. If the victim is sexless, the sex bot will not make any form of advancement and will retreat to find a suitable candidate.

The sex bot will ask for consent, but it's 'consent protocols' are unresponsive and will engage in physical combat upon rejection. If the player is feeling aroused, they are given the choice of consenting to the bot's advances, though this leads to the same result as loosing a fight. Sex bots are fitted with shields.

Combat actions include:

Tentacle Whip - Basic attack that makes use of the robot's cables to inflict physical damage.
Grapple - Attempts to grapple the opponent to constrict movement and inflict lust damage.
Electropulse Attack - A pulse of static to disrupt and breach shields.
Gunlock - Electronically locks ranged weapons for the duration of combat.
Shield Recharge - Takes a few turns to recharge its kinetic shields.
Hack Drone - Attempts to hack the opponent's combat drone and force it to display porn for a random amount of turns.

40% weakness to electric attacks
100% immunity to lust attacks

Sex bots in the wastes are not known to drop any items but do drop 250-360 Credits and are worth 250 XP.

If the player declines the Sex Bot's advances it responds with:

"Consent protocols not responding,” says the sexbot, in the same tone of depthless calm. With a whirr and the now familiar sound of unwinding rope, four flexible tentacles tipped with rounded rubber grippers appear out of its back. They sway restlessly around the eerily beautiful droid as it advances upon you. “I am sorry insert name here, but I cannot do that.”.

This is a reference to a famous line from the HAL 9000 from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
