After talking to Shizuya and Anno (if she is a crew member), quite a bit can be learned about her past. She was once a small, nerdy kaithrit girl who was always shunned growing up because she was born a hermaphrodite. After college, she was hired by Akkadi R&D and was put to work on a project to miniaturize warp gate technology as a part of Anno's team. Her boyfriend was used as a test subject but never returned and is presumed dead. Distraught, Shizuya quit Akkadi and went on to roam the galaxy in drunken hysteria. She was picked eventually by two treated men and was offered a Treatment injection to "fix" everything she hated about herself. But, unknown to them, it was actually an Overdose injection. Not much is known about Overdose but, it is a reverse-engineered version of the UGC's attempt to recreate the original Treatment. It is supposedly based on a 200-300 year old UGC formula but has been recently popped again, being made by scratch within the last fifteen years. Shizuya managed to react "okay" to the injection and turned into the giant of a woman Steele is familiar with. Afterwards, Shizuya attempted to be a pirate with athree man crew. Their first hit just so happened to a Black Iron ambush, and after she managed to make it to the bridge she was forced to surrender at gunpoint by Kenka who, rather than killing her, asked Shizuya to work for her. She joined Black Iron, married and had two kids with Kenka, got her own ship and crew, and has been working contracts ever since.

During Shizuya's sparring scene, she uses a variety of physical and lust attacks and is quite a formidable opponent. With a 240 HP shield and a whopping 650 health, she can give even the most experienced players a run for their money. She uses her Custom Shock Gear to fight and wears her Modded Yellow Clothes. She is strong fighter and can deal massive amounts of damage as well as tank a lot of hits. Be wary of her fighting stance! If Shizuya is in her counterattack stance, any attack Steele makes will be immediately countered as well as staggered. If a lust approach is taken to the fight, Shizuya completely changes her fighting style to lust based attacks. Watch out for her grapple move as both versions can easily take out a massive chunk of health or increase lust to very high levels if they don't just outright end the fight. If Steele decides to attack Shizuya while she is in her lust attack mode, she will refocus herself and switch back to combat mode and be completely unresponsive to any lust attacks.

Shizuya's combat actions include:

• Thunder Break - Shizuya charges up her gauntlets and lets loose a electricity arc that deals high electricity damage and has a chance to stun
• Punch/Kick - Shizuya either punches or kicks and deals moderate kinetic damage
• Counter Stance - Shizuya doesn't attack, but rather shifts to a counterattack stance noted by this message, "It might not be a good idea to attack her head-on or give her an opening."
• Counterattack - If attacked with a melee or ranged attack while she is in her Counter Stance, Shizuya will take no damage and have a guaranteed hit that deals moderate damage and is guaranteed to stagger Steele
• Grapple - Shizuya grabs Steele and deals moderate damage. If Steele does not manage to escape afterwards, Shizuya proceeds to slam Steele into the ground and deal very high damage
