History

The Soak project started after Tamani Corp’s CEO was utterly humiliated by the JoyCo representative during an exhibit of femininity-enhancement mods. It is said that Tamani’s pink complexion turned a beet-red shade after the competitor’s representative showcased their newest product, Tittyblossom, while making a rather unsubtle reference to the Gush fiasco from a couple of years before.

Fueled by collective outrage, Tamani Corp poured inordinate amounts of resources into the creation of a product that would “wipe the smirk off that bitch’s face,” as the CEO herself said during a press conference, her words now immortalized in the extranet. Tamani’s choice was a pussy-enhancement mod that promised users a permanently lubricated, shapely pussy, along with increased sensitivity and fertility.

Early results were promising enough, however in their zeal (or, as some say, their obsessive focus on carnality), Tamani Corp’s researchers went a little too far. What was supposed to be a small libido enhancement turned out to cause severe addiction, leading up to extreme levels of nymphomania. Participants from the focus groups also complained about permanent leakage from their vaginas, which made it impossible to wear normal fabrics on their legs, and to top it off, the vaunted fertility boost only came to one in every ten participants.

The compound had been discovered only recently, so a few defects were to be expected, but this looked too much like the Gush incident. Before things could escalate into legal problems, Tamani Corp decided to shut down the project and fully disclose the results to the U.G.C. Drug Regulation Office (D.R.O.), which led to a universe-wide ban on Soak and similar compounds.

Many business specialists speculate that this was a deliberate move to stop other companies that were already experimenting with similar formulas. If Tamani Corp was to take a blow, its competitors would pay an even heavier price - JoyCo and Xenogen, in particular, had to shut down a number of projects that were nearing their final stages.

Shortly thereafter, Soak’s formula was leaked to the extranet by an anonymous hacker who infiltrated the D.R.O. systems (and who is now widely regarded as a hero). Conspiracy theorists point to Tamani herself as the mastermind, saying she used her connections to facilitate the cyber-heist, because she wanted her creation to spread all over the universe.

The truth will never be known, but it’s undeniable that this stunt gave the company’s image a nice boost among the rebellious youth. Since then, Tamani Corp’s shares have seen a subtle but steady growth that many staticians correlate to the rise in Soak’s underground popularity.

Method of Application

Soak is a quickly-dissolving candy that can be taken orally, or used as a vaginal suppository. The latter method is often recommended for solo use, but many clubbers prefer the former, since it allows them to share a dose through kissing. U.G.C. Peacekeeper offices receive frequent reports of people getting unknowingly drugged in this manner.

Legality

The U.G.C. prohibits the Soak compound, however it would be impossible to ban every single component of the formula, since most of them are also used in widely popular products. As a result, it is relatively easy to manufacture by back-alley chemists with the right equipment. Nowadays, Soak can be found in just about every underground party in a core planet, though it has only recently started to spread to rush planets.

Given Soak’s rising popularity and the fact that it doesn’t carry very serious physical debilitating effects (not nearly on the same level as Throbb, at any rate), some sectors of the U.G.C. have been pressing for legalization of the drug, and the Health Department has been seeking better ways to offer mental care for addicts.

Legality

  • Intense euphoria for a few hours.
  • Chemical and psychological addiction.
  • A steep and permanent increase in the production of vaginal fluids.
  • A steady increase in libido, often expressed by users as ‘cock craving’.
  • Extensive vaginal swelling and enhanced sensitivity to pleasure.
  • A stark increase in fertility, but only when overdosed.
  • Nymphomania and permanently reduced inhibitions.
