Description
Zeke is the manager and lead technician at the garage on Tavros Station. He gives Captain Steele the starting ship in TiTS: the Casstech Z14, that originally belonged to Victor Steele.
Appearance
Zeke is a human male in his mid-forties. He has dark brown hair flecked with gray, usually kept shaved down, and a short but thick beard.
History/Personality/Information of Note
More than twenty years before TiTS takes place, Zeke was part of a smuggling ship's crew, serving under a younger Lysander Chow. At some point while working for Chow, Zeke met and had a one night stand with pirate Amara Faell, which eventually resulted in the birth of a child, Kaede. Given their dangerous and criminal work, Zeke agreed to retire from smuggling to take care of Kaede. In the intervening years, Zeke was promoted to manager of the Tavros Station garage, and near the present day, was commissioned by Victor Steele to repair the adventurer's original starship, a beat-up Casstech Z14.
Interactions
Zeke is met only in the opening sequence of Trials in Tainted Space, in which he gives Steele the starting ship, which he's just finished refurbishing on orders from Steele's father, Victor Steele.
Quests
Aside from the introductory mention, Zeke does not have any related quests so far.
Trivia
It was originally intended for the player to find, talk to, and potentially even Sex Zeke. This however was scrapped in favor of being able to do those things with Vahn. The exact reason for this is unclear.
