Corruption

Corruption is one of the Core Stats of a character in CoC and determines to what degree the characters are under demonic influence. Both the PC and several (possibly all) NPCs have a corruption level, defined as a number between 0 and 100 where 0 is absolutely pure and 100 is completely demonic.

Corruption level affects numerous aspects of the game, some events are only available at certain corruption levels, others have very different outcomes depending on corruption.

Pure and Corrupted vs Good and Evil

It is important to realize that pure is not necessary the same as good and corrupted is not necessarily the same as evil. It is perfectly possible for a pure PC to do evil deeds and for a corrupted one to do good deeds. When it comes to NPCs, several highly corrupted characters seem quite unaffected by it while others are actively fighting against their own corruption. There are also many completely pure NPCs who are motivated by their own kind of evil, independent of the demonic influences.

Effects on PC

Increasing corruption

Corruption is raised by 2 at the start of the game.
If player is addicted to Minotaur Cum, explores the high mountains and fails intelligence and strength checks, they are raped by a minotaur and corruption is raised by 2. Characters with a vagina and wetness below 2 get additional raise by 1.
Final part of the tentacle loss rape scene raises it by 0.5.
- First part raises it by 1.
Corrupted Glade's flowers will raise it by 1. Vines raise it by 2. Knots raise it by 0.5.
Usage of Cerulean Potion raises corruption.
Joining two minotaurs at the mountain when being addicted to their cum triggers a scene that raises corruption by 1.
Losing to Jojo by lust when he's corrupt will raise corruption by 1.
Hitting an enemy with Succubi Whip will raise corruption by 0.3 if it's below 90.
Demonic tail TF will raise it by 3. Horns TF will raise it by 4.
All-Natural Onahole use will raise it by 0.5.
All-Natural Self-Stimulation Belt use will raise it by 1 if it's below 50 and by 1.5 otherwise.

Decreasing corruption

You can reduce corruption gains: Purity Blessing perk will reduce them by 50% while Pure and Loving will reduce them by 25%. They stack.
Getting rid of addiction to Marble's milk will lower corruption by 5.
Telling Marcus to stay human will lower it by 5.
Talking to Yara about her will lower it by 1.
It is lowered by 5 after the x-mas sex event.
Agreeing to help Jojo with Amily will lower it by 5. Helping him will lower it by 5.
Watching the Scylla/Imp Lord scene will lower it by 5.
Disagreeing with Dominika will lower it by 2.
Unlocking Lottie's cowgirl and quickie scenes will lower it by 1.
Talking to Kiha after she said she wants to fight demons will lower it by 1 if player's corruption is at or below 50.

Reading Izma's etiquette guide will lower it by 2.
Domming Izma and then bringing her to her bedroll (strength or fatigue above 70) will lower it by 2.
Reading Kitsune's books has 1/3 chance of lowering it by 1.

Consuming Pure Pearl always lowers it by 10.
God's Mead always lowers it by 1.
Sheep Milk always lowers it by 0.5.

Corrupted Libido perk requires 25 corruption to acquire.
Seduction perk requires 50 corruption to acqure (in addition to a fully corrupted Jojo).
Nymphomania perk requires 75 corruption to acquire.
Acclimation perk requires 50 corruption to acquire, in addition to 40 minimum lust.
Masochist perk requires 50 corruption to acquire, in addition to 60 libido.
Sadist perk requires 60 corruption to acquire.
Arousing Aura perk requires 70 corruption to acquire and use.
Feeder perk requires 35 corruption to get and is lost if it drops below 20.
Fire Lord perk requires 80 corruption.
Whispered perk requires 40 corruption.
