In version 0.8.14, while exploring the Swamp you can stumble against an illusory rock wall and find a hidden cave. Inside the cave is an egg and a written explanation about the fall and survival of Marethean dragons. You can choose to take the egg with you or leave it or destroy it. Taking it displays a message about the quest.
Pursuing this quest results in adding Ember to your party.
