Description

The naleen male is a generic counterpart to the Naleen Huntress enemy, and unlike her, is not a consistent character. He fights much like his female counterpart, using his claws and coils against an opponent.

Appearance

You’re fighting a naleen: a towering, serpentine predator from the waist down, supporting a chiseled humanoid torso that bears more than a passing resemblance to a feline, with jet black fur and perky feline ears. His messy hair hangs loose down his shoulders, held by a headband of woven leaves. He scowls menacingly, baring his razor sharp claws at you as he studies you, his coils primed for a pounce the moment he catches an opening.

Interactions

Male Naleen are hostile on encounter and will engage in combat with the Captain Steele.

Combat

Naleen males attack by claws primarily, though they have a highly effective grapple attack as well, using their coils to constrict an opponent. The constrict attack is devastating against lower-level characters, especially those with low Physique scores.

Male naleen combat actions include:

Normal Attack - A basic melee attack.
Constrict - A grapple attack that does light kinetic damage and constricts the opponent.
Bite Attack (Paralytic Venom) - Special attack that injects "Naleen Venom" which temporarily degrades the physique, reflexes, aim, and willpower of an opponent.
Pounce - Special attack dealing damage to an opponent's shield to try an break it. If broken, the attack deals heavy kinetic damage.
