The personal residence of Miranda during act 1 of the game.

Description

You are standing in the murky hallway just inside Miranda’s house.

What you can see of Miranda’s home is spartan, simple furniture and only sparsely decorated. The stove that you glimpse in the kitchen looks barely used. You assume that she usually eats her food either at the barracks or at the pub. Straight ahead, there is a small living room with several couches arranged in front of a stone hearth. On the wooden floor, there is a large pelt from some huge animal, like a bear. Various weapons are littering around the room, the most conspicuous being the huge two-handed sword hanging over the fireplace.

Directly on your left inside the hall, there is a locked door, presumably leading down to a cellar. Curiously, there is a heavy bar placed across the door, preventing anything or anyone from opening the door from inside.

Next to the cellar door is a steep stairway leading up to the second floor, which presumably contains Miranda’s sleeping quarters. You take a moment to survey Miranda’s bedroom. The room looks like it takes up most of the second floor of the building, barring a tiny study. It feels like you’re walking into a warzone. The floor is littered with discarded clothes - some of some of which don’t seem to belong to Miranda - and a generous selection of sex toys.

Pushed against the wall, there is a huge bed, able to easily hold four or five people. No doubt, it has seen much use during its lifetime. Investigating the room further, you see a small balcony facing the main street, and a window overlooking the alleyway.
