Sweet gossamer and black gossamer are a spider-morph and drider transformation items.
Sweet gossamer can be obtained by fighting the Female Spider-Morph or the Male Spider-Morph (1/2 for both) in the swamp, by talking with male one, or by talking with female one (1/2 she'll talk, 1/2 she'll attack), and if she will not suggest sex, but simply talks (1/2 for either).
Black gossamer can be obtained by fighting the Corrupted Drider (1/2).
A more random possible source for these items are the gifts from Kid A.
Sweet: These strands of gooey pink gossamer seem quite unlike the normal silk that spider-morphs produce. It smells sweet and is clearly edible, but who knows what it might do to you?
