History/Personality/Information of Note
While never explicitly explained, it can be implied that the Venus Zil Traps are a subspecies of Venus Pitcher born from interbreeding between regular Pitchers and Zil. The pseudo-wings and distinctly red compound eyes also belies that one of their "Parents" may have hailed from the same tribe as the Red Zil Male hence why they appear so closely to each other.
Thanks to their Hybrid heritage, Zil Traps are even more dangerous than their cousin's as they inherited the Pitchers' agrokinesis as well as the extremely potent Pheromones of the Zil. This combined with their increased range of mobility within their pods, makes it easier for them to seduce or capture their prey, and shorten the time needed to addict them to complete sexual subservience.
Interactions
The PC and Penny will first be encountered in the secret passage to the Oxonium cave mid-coitus with a male Ausar Smuggler. The player and Penny will have the option to try to release the Smuggler. If the player and Penny choose not to Penny will read the Zil Traps' Codex entry and conclude that whomever id in the pod is to "Mentally Cheched-out" and there is nothing you can do to save him. If the player frees the Smuggler from the pod it will release a massive quantity of flowery pheromones and aphrodisiac juice/nectar. After realizing he currently isn't balls-deep in Alraune pussy he will push the two of you out of the way and resume fucking the Zil Trap. This causes the PC and Penny to take considerable Drug, Pheromone, and tease damage. Putting the two of you at a disadvantage against the two Zil Traps you will find deeper in the cave.

During the battle you will have to fight two Venus Zil Traps alongside Penny. Half of the Zil Traps' attacks are dependent on the tentacles coming out of the pod which has it's own seperate health bar and stats. During the fight the left Zil Trap will target the player and the right one will focus primarily on Penny. Neither of them can be blinded.
