Description
The vanae are a race of heavily-tentacled, blind huntresses found on Mhen'ga. They are a race of amazonian women, reliant on other races's men to propagate. This encounter is of a veteran huntress.
Appearance
Your opponent - a busty vanae huntress - almost appears as if she’s dancing as she fights you. Her lengthy tentacle-hair and skirt, not to mention her sizable breasts, make her look incredibly feminine. The amazon’s tentacles and body markings are glowing violet colored and bioluminescent.
As she swings her pointed spear around in her webbed hands, you can’t help but notice her bare boobs bouncing about. Her inverted nipples are lactating a transparent, violet goo. Meanwhile her tail whips around as she ‘dances’, another weapon in the alien girl’s natural arsenal.
Her eyes are closed. It’s always a little weird fighting someone who doesn’t even look at you.

Vanae may be hostile and ambush the Captain Steele into combat upon encounter.
Combat
Vanae are fairly high level for Mhen'ga, and caution is recommended before inexperienced characters attempt to fight them. They are blind, meaning that many lust attacks and blind attacks will not work against them. They are armed with spears and also have the ability to camouflage themselves, increasing their chance to dodge.
Like the male zil, vanae are a relatively even mix of lust and physical attacks.
Vanae huntress combat actions include:
- Attack - Basic melee attack.
- Spear Strike - Melee attack that deals moderate damage. Critical hits on an opponent will increase the damage by twice its normal damage and cause the opponent to be "Stunned". Critical hits are ensured when the opponent is "Stunned" or "Trip".
- Tail Swipe - Attack that does light to moderate damage and can cause the opponent to "Trip". There is a rare chance this attack will be a critical hit, doubling its damage.
- Grapple - Special attack that ensnares the opponent into being "Grappled". If already grappled, this attack will deal light to moderate tease damage to the opponent--even higher damage if choosing to not struggle.
- Milkspray - Special attack that inflicts light to moderate tease damage and a rare chance to stun the opponent.
- Camo - Special ability where the vanae will activate a "Camouflage", increasing her aim and reflexes for 3 turns.
Loot/Items/Equipment
Like most Mhen'ga encounters, vanae do not drop credits. However, they may drop their spears or Sky Sap. They are worth 50 XP.

The Huntresses have the following scenes. They are recycled between win and loss variants, with the exception of Ink Bath.
