A deployable drone swarm
While individual drones are ineffective against most space faring vessels, coordinated swarms working in tandem are capable of punching far above their weight, making them an effective method of force projection. During combat, they can be assigned to serve as either point defense or fire support.

Acquisition
Usage
The Drones have two modes: Defense and Attack. When installed, they default to Defense but are changed in the Special menu in combat. Each installation is configured separately and is remembered between combats.
- Defense - +5 Evasion
- Attack - One attack per turn
- Electric damage that scales with Steele's level, but not with Tech Specialist's Attack Drone or Drone Control perks
- 50 + (0-9) + 5 * Level
- Costs 0 Energy
- Attacks even when Evading or Charging
- Always hits the target
