Description

Doctor Byron McAllister is one of the brilliant minds behind Xenogen Biotech's rise to the top of the market in gene therapies and other transformatives. He's a jovial and boisterous man, belying a cunning intelligence and passion for his work. When Captain Steele first encounters him, Dr. McAllister is the toast of Gildenmere, having helped to prevent nuclear war on Myrellion by getting Xenogen involved in the planet's affairs. His constant involvement in the affairs of the Gold Myr prevent Steele from interacting with him until Steele finds a vial of red myr blood, which he needs to complete his work on myrmedion transformative items.

Appearance

Dr. McAllister is a tall, burly human male in his late forties or early fifties. He has rich, dark hair and a long, full beard. Were it not for his ever-present labcoat, it would be easy to mistake him for the classic depiction of a lumberjack.

History/Personality/Information of Note

Little is known about McAllister's history or education, only that he was the lead designer on several very popular mods -- so many that he was able to accumulate enough clout to push Xenogen to get the United Galactic Confederacy to intervene on Myrellion. He appears to be a kind man and a humanitarian, deeply concerned with the preservation of the myrmedion species.

Interactions

Once Steele gains access to him, McAllister appears in the back lab of the Xenogen shop on Myrellion, where he and several lab assistants are working around the clock.

Sells

McAllister himself doesn't sell anything. Nevrie vends his wares in the shop's foyer.

Talk

Steele can talk with McAllister about a variety of subjects, mostly related to the status of Myrellion and its conflicts and species. It is possible to interview a pair of faux-myr he's helped to create, and to talk with him about a possible hybrid species of myr. This line of questioning will allow Steele to fund McAllister's efforts to create an "orange myr" TF item which Steele hopes can help improve relationships between the myr races.

Sex

McAllister doesn't currently have any individual sex scenes, though when interviewing the test subjects for his myrmedion treatment, he and Steele can engage in a foursome with the faux-myr girls.

Quests

Completing Nevrie's quest for myr blood allows Steele to access Dr. McAllister inside the Xenogen shop.

Dr. McAllister has the following quests available:

Myr Hybridity

After attaining the myr blood vial for Dr. McAllister and finding out more about his interest in the myr, Steele can help him with his research into myr splicing, or "insectification". This may lead into sparking his interest by making a hybrid myr, combining the traits of gold and red myr, as a possible means to show how related the two subspecies are to each other.

Requirements:

  • Gain access to Dr. McAllister's lab.

Resolution:

  • After approaching Dr.McAllister for the first time, return to him in about 24 hours after the visit.
  • Talk to Dr. McAllister about Myr Transformations and Dr. McAllister will offer to introduce Steele to his faux-myr creations.
  • Choose to Meet Them, with an optional orgy sex scene to follow.
  • Meet with Dr. McAllister again and suggest the possibility of Myr Hybridization.
  • Pay 20,000 credits to fund the hybridization Research.
  • Revisit Dr.McAllister after a week from the funding to receive the hybrid myr data chit.
  • Talk to Juro about Orange Myr to give him the data chit.
  • ???

Rewards: The rewards will be tiered based on the progression.

  • 24 hours after the first meet, Nevrie will have two new items in her shop, themed respectively for red myr and gold myr.
  • After receiving the hybrid myr data chit, Nevrie will have a new item available.
