Description
ignets are used by nobles and wealthy merchants, pressed into wax seals as a mark of authenticity. In the late Belharan Empire, it became common practice to engrave them into rings rather than stamps or rods, and soon enough signet rings were held up as status symbols, marks of authority for all the world to see. Even now, in these dark days, rings such as these remain popular among the upper classes, a reminder of bygone glory.
