Description

Dr. Edward Lessau is head of Steele Tech’s biomedical division. He currenlty resides in Uveto studying the local fauna. Dr. Edward Lessau is the creator of Captain Steele's microsurgeons and a vendor of exotic transformatives.

Appearance

You can only assume that Dr. Lessau was human at one point, but it’s impossible to tell under the mountain of gene mods he’s undergone, which have turned him into a creature similar to the mythic chimera. From the waist down his lower body is a massive serpent’s tail, normally spiraled into a coil underneath him to keep him at a few inches over six feet. The bulk of the tail’s scales are pitch black, save for a strip of white that runs down the front. His upper body is thickly muscled and covered in a thin layer of white fur that sports a thicker layer of orange around his shoulders and collar. Matching thick orange bands of fur are wrapped around each of his four wrists. Despite the thickness of his muscles, his hands are lean and nimble, the fingers tipped in sharp feline claws. His head is that of a lion, including an orange mane that cascades down his back as hair, but a pair of massive black horns stretch out from underneath the hair, more like a bull’s horns than a goat’s in how they angle up and forward. Adorning his back are a set of white feathered wings.

The doctor stands nude save for a lab coat worn open. He shows no obvious sexual endowments at first glance.

History/Personality/Information of Note

Although born a human, Doctor Lessau has adopted the form of a chimera - a beast made of the parts of several beasts - complete with two pairs of arms. Doctor Lessau also mentions that he is at least two centuries old. In the last twenty years he has developed almost the entire biotechnology division of Steele Tech.

Interactions

The PC can talk with Doctor Lessau about his work on Uveto, how he knew Victor Steele, and his chimera-like appearance.

Trivia

  • Doctor Lessau's last name rhymes with Moreau. This is because his role that he played to the PC is similar to that of Doctor Moreau from H.G. Wells' "The Island of Doctor Moreau".
  • Lessau's Appearance is loosely based on the mythological Chimera.
    • The palette of Lessau's fur and scales is specifically derived from the Chimera's appearance in "Yugi-Oh!" as depicted on the monster card "Chimera, the Master of Beasts".
