Appearance
This Minoan military cloak will help any wearer look the part of a high-ranking officer or noble with its beautiful purple hue — a dye only available to the very wealthy or to those who hunt a particular kind of sea snail. This one is unquestionably a personal gift, and the brooch that fastens it together is just as personal, designed specially for you in the shape of a hawk.
Special Effect: When the wearer is healed, they receive a buff to Armor, Ward, and Focus of +10 each for two turns.

Trivia
- The Cloak of the Deeps is based on the paludamentum, the ancient Roman military cloak, dyed with the effluvia of murex snails. In silly mode, the item's description makes this explicit.
- The cloak is described as a "deeps" cloak, for the Deeprealms that are home to Khor'minos. However, "deeps" is also often a way to refer to "DPS" or damage-dealing players in RPGs. The silly mode description for the cloak comments that this is strange, since the cloak itself is so obviously tank gear.
- If the Champion's soul is sworn to one of the Seven - Lumia, Nareva, or Keros - the brooch on the cloak changes to that god's icon.
