Before she has any further dealings with you, Den Matron Komari would like you to properly introduce yourself to the following people and ensure that all's right with them: Kohaku, who is in charge of the storehouse, Her heirs Miko and Mai, who can be usually found at the shrine by the fields, And her great-great-grandson Nakano, whose office sits on the other side of the courtyard. While there are many more foxes who live in this place, these are the ones she'd like you to get good with. Once you've properly familiarised yourself with everyone, you can return to her and get down to business.

Happily, you have been such the good socialite that you actually managed to introduce yourself to everyone, working your way up the chain of command to Komari herself. Schooled in it or not, having lived it or not, you may just have a natural knack for kitsune etiquette.

Acquisition

Complete Den of Foxes, then return to the den and talk to Komari. She will ask you to introduce yourself to the den so you can see kitsune as being people rather than soul-sucking vampires.

Progress

• Kohaku can be found on the first floor, on the far west of the map. She's the merchant.
• Miko and Mai can be found on the first floor, to the far north of the map by the waystone.
• Nakano can be found on the second floor near Komari's square, during the hours of 12:00 and 17:00.

If you met them in combat, Nakano and Miko and Mai will already count as being met and will not be required for completion of the quest.

Reward

Komari's interactions are unlocked, most notably the interaction to free Kiyoko.
