Fox Berry is a consumable transformative item. As the name suggests, consuming a dose produces a random transformation towards an anthropomorphic fox.

Description

A large cluster of small berries, glistening faintly in the light. Orange-red in colour for the most part, the berry cluster fades to white as it tapers towards the stem, making it resemble a fox's tail. As you look at them, you can't help but get a sense of deja vu, a feeling that these look somehow familiar.

According to the local lore of the Frost Marches, they're perfectly edible, but you'd need to be really, really hungry to want to eat these things instead of anything else. As to why that's the case... you'd have to taste some to find out.

Effects

This item will be consumed on use and in doing so, one or more of the effects listed below will randomly occur. The item can be alchemically refined with the listed reagents to limit its effects only to that target. The Raw effects will not occur when the item is alchemized due to those effects not being the primary purpose of the item. If the Champion has all of the listed effects or does not meet the transformation condition, there will be no effect. Unless stated, these new effects will overwrite all existing types or tags of a certain body part.

Trivia

Fox Berry was the first transformative added to the game, in order to test the transformation system. It's also one of the few transformatives introduced before a character of the respective race is introduced - so far there have been no plain fox-morphs.
