Description
Maike is a modded Cylrian slave overseer working in Zheng Shi.
Appearance
Presumably Overseer Maike this towering insectoid woman has you pinned to the ground.
She stands at 6’7’’ with a graceful, subtly sexy posture. What adds to this is the sheer size of her moth-like wings. Six thick wings flicker and waft in the warm air of the mine, bathed in a gentle orange-red glow as light passes through the patterned, translucent membranes. What’s left creates an ominous shadow that covers your prone form.
The Overseer’s body could only be described as athletic and wiry, an overt litheness to her limbs belying her raw physical strength and dexterity. She was able to plummet from heights unseen and handily knock you to the ground after all. Even with your strength, she took you to town. That said, she is clearly a bombshell: a toned hourglass shape with curvy hips, a bouncy, grabbable ass and a soft set of healthy, bare E-cup breasts on full display. An array of symmetrical silver piercings make artwork of her near-flat nipples, reflecting the light to become dozens of tiny twinkling dots in the darkness.
What takes away from her attention to the aesthetic are the chitinous plates that cover her insectoid frame. The sides of her hips, legs and arms are covered in bony, pale-green plates that glisten under the lights. Said plates are intermingled with softer, smooth-looking scales that blend from pale-green to purple and then to a sensuous blue. You think that there’s some serious mod-work going on: these plates look unnaturally strong. Her feet and hands could be interchanged if not for details: five digits a-piece with the appendages crested with more scales, tapering off into vicious claws. With one splayed foot planted flat against you, you don’t need to guess at its manual dexterity.
A long and thick tail swings and slithers around the air like a spectral snake. It’s easily the length of the slaver herself and the tip is covered in four pale-green plates that jitter and flap with some unknown intent. What could be hidden within there is anyone’s guess…
Her face is exceedingly feminine but still more alien than human. She has unusually straight and sharp features with slanted, blazing orange eyes. Those eyes bore into you with their 3-slit pupils, attempting to steal your attention in these brief moments. A tight bundle of long, silver quills hangs over her shoulder like something akin to hair but made of something more rigid. It’s all held in place by two long, elfin ears that sweep back much like her horns. Around her neck is a natural ‘scarf’ of downy grey fur, one that conforms to a V shape towards her cleavage and adds another layer of curious sophistication. Two sleek horns of greenish-white curve back from her forehead and add a devilish spin, another alien twist to her evolutionary biology.
She wears a complex suit of armor, although ‘armor’ could be stretching the word. An ornate corset of silver and black covers her hourglass middle, giving some minimal support for her exposed bust. The corset fails to cover much else, leaving a thong-like strip below the waist to cover the slaver's nethers. Flexible, silk-like fabric connects it to her shoulder armor, which itself is quite bulky, almost spherical and made of a similar silver metal to the corset. You wonder what those strange shoulder-parts could be for. On her wrists are rather fetching cuffs that are connected to the shoulders by more loose fabric. The only armor below the hips comes in the form of two silver repulsors that fit seamlessly to the back of her calves. Explains how she was able to fly and land so swiftly and easily…
Around her waist is a wide belt with items of interest: card keys in holsters, a grey rod with some buttons on it, a strange hand cannon with two barrels, some satchell of bulging square objects.
History/Personality/Information of Note
Overseer Maike is best described by her bee boy toy Tivf:

Upon encountering Maike for the first time, she will tackle the PC, after which the PC can:
- Appearance - Check her appearance
- Fuck You - You’re gonna kick her ass! Or attempt to at least!
- Leads to combat.
- Bluff - You’re dressed the part, all you have to do is sound vaguely convincing. It’s not soooo hard, right? Right.
- Requires the PC to be wearing the Slave Uniform.
- The player has 3 options: It Broke, Unprocessed, Pen, or Fuck You!.
- It Broke - Better than nothing, right?
- Leads to Maike roughing you up a little, increasing lust by 20 points, and attaching her Slave Collar, and giving you the Spacesuit Helmet.
- Unprocessed - Might not be as convincing. Also might lead to her taking advantage...
- Leads to Maike having her way with the player before attaching her Slave Collar, and giving you the Spacesuit Helmet.
- Pen - Probably very convincing. Still might lead to her taking advantage...
- Leads to Maike having her way with the player before sending you to the Slave Pen.
- Fuck You - You’re gonna kick her ass! Or attempt to at least!
- Leads to combat.
- It Broke - Better than nothing, right?

If the player returns to this space without having previously defeating Maike, regardless of whether or not you are wearing the Slave Uniform, the only options will be:

Combat
For some reason, Overseer Maike has a maximum lust of 125. At the start of the fight, Maike will see you as just another Slave Toy to break and won't take the Captain Steele seriously; Relying mainly on lust attacks. As she takes significant physical damage however, she will "Get Serious" and begin actively trying to evade the player before performing sneak attacks. She protects herself with a Prototype Pirate Shield and a Slut Ray combined with a Phase Whip to create a Psi Whip. If the player has met Tivf they will be aware of Maike's fetish for struggling slaves and when she grapples the player with her whip, they will know to do nothing. She has passive immunity to all grenade special abilities.
Once Maike is below 250 HP she will take to the air having the following effects:
- Reduce her lust by 30
- Increase her energy by 45
- Return shield back to full health.
- Gain 'Flying' status effect, making melee attacks ineffective unless player is also flying, or has mercenary perk 'Lunge'

Quests
It is considered a necessity for the player to interact with Maike at least once in order to recover the Zheng Shi Data Probe. This is because the probe is located in the The Scaffolds which by default is inaccessible. The only way to get there is to either obtain the Spacesuit Helmet from her, combine it with the Incomplete Spacesuit to create the Pirate Spacesuit, and Spacewalk to repair the elevator to The Forge. Alternatively, the player can pretend to be a Slave and be sent to the Slave Pen where they may join a slave chain-gang, be picked out with Ardia by Agrosh, and taken to The Forge's break room. If the player doesn't take the opportunity to join the chain-gang the only option they will have at that point is to fight Maike and take the helmet by force.
