Bust of Isadora by Moira
The soldier-girl smiles, wiping some of the sweat off on a leather bracer. "We try. Name's Isadora, of the Seventh Legion. You alright? No injuries? I have a couple of vulneraries in my pack."
Isadora is a soldier in the Seventh Legion of the Khor'minos army. Not normally able to fight on the frontlines due to being too short compared to the average minotaur, she managed to get herself recruited to join the city's defence against the Imps. She's enthusiastic despite her inexperience, and is coming along rapidly under Calise's tutelage.
"As soon as the first imp attacks began and I volunteered to help the city, Isadora practically attached herself to me at the hip. Because of her stature, she's not usually allowed to fight on the front lines — she's just too short compared to the minotaurs that would stand beside her in the shield wall, not for any lack of skill — but since I'm here throwing myself head-first into danger anyway, she managed to throw a loud enough fit to finally convince her commander to let her join the patrols. Flying imps make a mess of shield walls anyway, it turns out, and having somebody small enough to weave between the bulls' legs to chop down any that get through has proven useful enough."
The last member of the company, though, stops at your side and raps a fist against her breastplate. She's not much bigger than the paladin, and is just as human despite wearing the same uniform as bull-men twice her size that she's following. Her dark skin is sheened in sweat, copper hair matted to her brow, but she gives you a warm smile all the same.
Isadora is present when Calise leads the seventh legion in rescuing you from the Imp Horde. She remains behind as a rearguard as the main group charges after the retreating imps. Isadora introduces herself to you and your party, warmly greeting Brint or having an awkward interaction with Brienne. Before you can get too acquainted however, a group of imps come out of hiding and attack. You battle the remnants of the horde fighting alongside Isadora.
If you're victorious, Isadora triumphantly bashes the final imp with her shield and is heartily congratulated by a returning Calise. If you're defeated, Isadora screams for you to flee as she's buried under a pile of imps. Calise blasts the imps away before anything can happen, and chastises Isadora for underestimating her foes. Either way, Isadora waves goodbye as she leaves with the legion, trotting after them to keep up with the marching Minotaurs.
