Succubus Soldiers

The Succubus Soldiers is a generic non-sexable combat encounter, consisting of one Succubus Veteran and one Succubus Slinger, that can be encountered throughout the Khor'torhen Fortress during the events of Over Troubled Water/The Siege of Khor'minos. While the imp breeding pits have not been destroyed, the Succubus Soldiers and the Imp Horde have an encounter rate of 40% every 3 tiles moved. Once the pit has been destroyed, the encounter rate is reduced to 20%.

Appearance

Turning, you see a pair of succubi have taken notice of your party, stalking towards you with the clear intent to take you captive. They're both wearing salvaged armor from the garrison, and wielding weapons that would be overbearingly large on normal humans... but they've simply used their shapeshifting abilities to become a pair of minotaur-sized amazons, able to deftly wield their stolen armaments.

Regardless of the path taken that leads to the Khor'toren Fortress, the Succubus Soldiers appear as a generic combat-only encounter. When encountered, it's clear that the succubi have an intent in capturing the Champion and their party. Depending on whose present, Calise will exchange words with a Veteran, while Princess Varena will exchange words with a Slinger.

As soon as the succubi are defeated, the party moves on as there is no time to linger.

Defeat by the Succubus Soldiers, Imp Horde, or if the Champion destroyed the imp breeding pits before reaching the bottom tile of The Courtyard for the first time results in the Oopside Doodles bad end.
