Nothing springs wholly formed from the aether. Surely I have a mother somewhere, as I am a mother to mine own effigies. But where she is, or what form she might take... I cannot know. Within this part of the world, I believe I am unique.

The Alraune

Other Relevant Information

An alraune is a plant-like monster that is sprouted from a seed, and once formed, at the center of the flower is a woman of leaves and vines. From what the Alraune has said, she knew nothing of the world outside her glade, it was only until Kasyrra came to her that her goal was to spread her glade all throughout the land, as well as to fill the world with more of her daughters. While under the service of Kasyrra, the Alraune was instructed to never allow her daughters to venture across the river that leads to the Wayfort and beyond.

At least for corrupted alraunes, they are capable of using their tentacle-like vines to inflict both pain and pleasure. They also produce golden aphrodisiac-laced nectar and pheromones to lull their partners and foes; the scent of honey mixed with the Alraune's unsubtle pheromones can make the mind of anyone who passes through her glade foggy. Were it not for Kasyrra, the Alraune would have perished from the great blizzard, due to her young body being unprepared for her first winter to be so brutal. While Hinata has seen alraunes before, the Alraune is of a different kind; being much more perverse and direct.

The Alraune's corruption has corrupted and transformed much of the flora and fauna of the Old Forest, which has resulted in things like the Lycanthorn which led to the Corrupted Lupines, and how Evelyn got her cock. The Alraune is also capable of growing new plants and modifying them to suit her needs.

Effigies

The seeds produced by the Alraune or through any seedbeds will result in an alraune-effigy, in which they are a unique mutated subspecies of alraune due to the Alraune's corruption. These daughters live to serve their mother, bringing the best to be fertilized by her. The Alraune has taught her daughters that the winner of the fight must ravish the loser. Similar to the Alraune, the effigies produce rich amber nectar form their blooming flower-like nipples, and musky purple goo as their cum.

If the Alraune was defeated but not killed, she will instruct her daughters to only bring in people who want to have fun, and to return the forest to its original state through planting flowers and clearing dead wood.
