“ | The Dawnsword dates from the Godswar, Champion — an elegant weapon for a more civilized age. The details are mostly lost in the distant past, but Sigebert, the legendary founder of the Order of the Oriflamme, is said to have brought it with him from the land of the frost elves in the midst of the war. With the sword's blazing light as his beacon, he founded a warriors' legion to defend the lands that would eventually become Yvennes from Wraith and thrall alike.

—Brother Sanders, to the Champion |
Description
The pride and joy of the Order of the Oriflamme, granted to that cadre of elite Lumian paladins by the goddess herself. Casual inspection suggests that it's little more than an elaborate sword hilt with far too much gilding, but upon activation by the wielder a blade of blazing brilliance bursts forth from the guard, capable of cleaving through metal with ease. Two decades underground hasn't tarnished it any, and it still gleams as if it were brand new. That it actually works for you says something in and of itself; although whether you personally like the implications is another matter...

There's no weapon better suited for a valkyrie like you, the cream of the crop when it comes to the goddess of light's holy warriors.
