The Champion must be at least level 2 to encounter the kitsune bandits. The Champion's first encounter with the Forest Kitsune will be in the [[Old Forest]] where they will first ambush the Champion, Hinata will apologize for their actions but they require what the Champion has. Unlike the usual bandits or thieves, these kitsune demand not gold but food to fill their hungry stomachs. If supplies are not available, there exist 'alternatives' which can sate the needs of the kitsune if the Champion is willing.
