Seasonal Events are scenes or events which are restricted to specific time period and will only occur between certain real-world dates. Certain cheat codes can also be used to get those scenes to occur regardless of the actual time period.
Calendar rules
There is no actual system to handle seasonal events, so each one implements repeatability and time constraints in its own way, which can lead to various quirks.
- Repeatable once per calendar year
- At some point when the event is triggered, the game records the current year and will not trigger the event again until not only the seasonal conditions are met, but also until the calendar year has changed (often specifically until it has increased). That means that, even when using cheats, these events cannot be re-triggered until the next year rolls around.
- Reset once the season is over
- These events consider the end of a season to be a key point, which causes some flags to be reset. If a game is saved during Christmas season one year, and resumed at some point in September, the game will register that Christmas season is over and will reset the relevant flags. If that same save is not reloaded until the following Christmas, though, that "end of season" trigger will have been missed, and events that check for this will not be available to retry.

- All enemies have a chance (about 2%) of dropping a large or small egg of any color as a rare drop
- Easter Jumper on Zheng Shi
- Easter Zaika on Dhaal
Independence Day
July 4th (±7 days)
- All enemies have a chance (about 3%) of dropping Red Rockets as a rare drop
- Doctor Badger starts selling Red Rockets
- Riley can be encountered (5% chance ) on Mhen'ga, Tarkus, New Texas and Phaedra while exploring hazardous locations
