Description
Captain Steele and Syri Dorna embark on a dangerous mission to rescue Syri's old friend, Commander Valden from a secret Akkadi Research Facility on Uveto.
A (un)Happy Accident
In order to start this Quest you must first meet Syri and reach "Fuckbuddy" status with her and to have unlocked the coordinates to Uveto. The player will literally bump into her in Uveto's transit station, spilling her overpriced coffee all over her sweater. After the two of you dry off in a pub, Syri explains that they finished the bridge project on Mhen'ga and as such, she was laid off as her contract was no good anymore.
After dancing around the reason why she'd spend everything she had left to go to this giant snowball, she confides in the player that her real motive is that she received an anonymous tip that her old friend, Commander Valden had survived the accident that supposedly killed him and was being held captive in an Akkadi Research Facility. Syri will then ask the player to assist them in breaking into the facility.
Dramatis Fursonae
- Lt. Cmdr. Valden - The Techno Ghost of the late Valden
- Myrra, Huskar Secretary - Pure huskar, silver-blonde hair. Deliciously chubby, huge tiddies, an ass that just don't stop.
- Commander Schora, Head of Security - Ausar/Dzaan Hybrid, exceptionally skilled combat specialist.
- Torra, Assistant Researcher - Uplifted milodan, formerly a fertility priestess before her clan accepted the starfarer tech.
- Dr. Raade Calnor, Head Researcher - Despite looking like a big buff viking dude, Dr. Calnor is a brilliant researcher in Warp Field Theory (the same science Anno does).
Events And Encounters
Syri's plan is for the two of you to get jobs at another bridge construction company and use them to sneak inside a series of delivery containers meant to be taken to the Research Facility. While you are transported inside, Syri will cause a power surge on the other side of the connecting bridge to temporarily disable any security sensors and drones that might detect and stop you. This should, ideally give you enough time to find Valden and escape.
Getting Hired In
The player must pass an interview with Myrra. This requires you to either have sex with her or be a Tech Specialist. Next they must sneak onboard the ship. To do so they must complete a "Complete the Circuit" minigame or alternatively use the Stealth Field Generator if they have the perk as a Smuggler. If the player attempts and fails the the minigame, they will be penalized by having extra time passed, lust increased, and minor damage taken. Additionally, you won't be able to seduce Schora out of fighting you again.
Sneaking In
Upon arriving to the facility you will find the place deserted. Due to the disabled power there are very few places to go beyond this floor. They player must make their way to the Backup Generators, located at the space marked with a "☆". There, the player will be subjected to a Game of Sums minigame. Ideally, you want to add exactly 40%. Too little and you won't boot up the elevator. Too much, and you'll boot up the elevator, but also activate the building's security systems, causing Security Robots to spawn and attack you all throughout the main floor.
- It's pretty easy to solve but if you don't feel like working it out yourself, the ideal solution is the first choice on generator A, the third on generator B, and the second on generator C.
Staff Floor
If the player restores power to the Elevator and makes it back to it unharmed, they can potentially ride it down to the Staff Floor. Most of the staff however are trapped in their labs, offices, and quarters; and the access ways to reach them are locked. The only character who can be interacted with on this floor is Commander Schora, who is having a cold shower in the communals at the end of the hallway. The player can watch her, talk to her, or have sex with her; but not all three.
Department of Research & Development
Going up will take the PC to Department of Research & Development. This is the floor where Valden is located. Upon stepping forward to the square above the Elevator the Elevator will become locked. Northernmost tile square is the Akkadi Archive, Tech Specialists will have the unique ability to Steal Data giving them a bonus 12,500 Credits. At the end of the hallway within the Research Hall Checkpoint they will be confronted by Torra. South of Torra is a Threeway crossroad. To the left is the Biomedical Lab, where the player will be able to find a crate labeled "Artifacts" containing a BionaHole made from Syri's old vagina. Southbound is the Warp Field Lab where Valden is held up, locking everyone out. To the right is the Starship Labs. Entering the Starship Labs leads to the showdown with Calnor.
Calnor's Climax
The following is a list of the branching paths that the player may choose following meeting Calnor:
- After stealing the schematics to Akkadi's unreleased projects, the player will find Dr. Raade Calnor. Calnor will introduce himself before being interrupted by Valden who will ask you to kill the scientist. Before automatically attacking Calnor the player can exchange a few words to get a better scope of what's going on. The player may either Team Up with or Fight Calnor.
- Should the player side with Calnor, the two of you must fight your way through hoards of Security Robots. Upon reaching the Warp Field Lab, Calnor will blow up the door and after exchanging words with Valden will prepare to kill him. The player may join him or try to negotiate peace.
- Killing Valden will allow the player to depart from the facility peacefully but have the great misfortune of having to explain what happened to Syri.
- If the player Tries Peace with Valden, Valden will explain that what he wants is to be free, which will require a body with a sense of sight, hearing, and touch as well as enough memory capacity to hold a complex consciousness. To obtain this he suggests you giving him Dr. Calnor's body. The player can deny him which leads to you fighting him, agree and turn on Calnor, or suggest he uses one of your drones. Applicable Drones include Tam-Wolf and both forms of Siegwulfe. You must have the drone with you for it to qualify - there is no option to bring Valden's mind back to your ship first.
- If the player helps Valden by switching his body with Calnor's the two of you will attempt to escape from the facility by stealing one of their dropships. During which, on the Helipad, you will find the in question dropship, firing at you while being piloted by a very angry Schora. After shooting down her ship Schora will emerge from the remains and engage you directly. The player may try to seduce her into letting you go but she will refuse on the account that you are basically, kidnapping her boss.
- If the player helps Valden by switching his body with a drone, the two of you will attempt to escape from the facility by stealing one of their dropships. During which, on the Helipad, you will find the in question dropship, firing at you while being piloted by a very angry Schora. After shooting down her ship Schora will emerge from the remains and engage you directly. The player may try to seduce her into letting you go and will succeed if they weren't caught Sneaking into the facility, and Treated Her Bad in the shower.
- If the player sides with Valden, they must fight Dr. Calnor. Defeating him Unlocks the Warp Field Lab.
- Upon meeting Valden in the lab, he will explain his need for a physical body with housing for his consciousness and a sense of sight, hearing, and touch. Valden will explain that the Security Robots don't reach this criteria and suggests switching bodies with Dr. Calnor. Alternatively, you can suggest he switches bodies with your drone. Applicable Drones include Tam-Wolf and both forms of Siegwulfe. You must have the drone with you for it to qualify - there is no option to bring Valden's mind back to your ship first.
- If the player helps Valden by switching his body with Calnor's, Calnor himself will appear not soon after and engage you with buffed stats. Defeating him will allow Valden to switch bodies and the two of you will attempt to escape from the facility by stealing one of their dropships. During which, on the Helipad, you will find the in question dropship, firing at you while being piloted by a very angry Schora. After shooting down her ship Schora will emerge from the remains and engage you directly. Trivia
- When siding with Valden and transferring him into a Siegwulfe, he has slightly different reactions depending on which one you use. In both cases, however, Valden agrees that it's better than nothing and all scenes afterwards are identical.
- He reacts fairly positively to a standard model but is still disappointed that the body is feminine and tauric.
- He treats a bimbo-style Siegwulfe with disdain, wondering why any robot needs such large breasts.
- Valden will call both versions a glorified sexbot if you only transfer him after initially siding with Dr. Calnor.
- If the player tries to transfer Valden to Tam-wolf, he will refuse and call the PC a "Racist Asshole" for even suggesting to put him in a literal dog.
- If Dr. Calnor is present, he will agree with Valden.
- If the game is in silly mode and Steele manages to successfully seduce Commander Schora in the final confrontation, they will solemnly declare that “there are other worlds than these” as part of the dialogue. This is a reference to the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. If silly mode is disabled, this reference is not present and Steele instead tells Schora to listen to her heart.
- If you transfer Valden into a Siegwulfe body, the datacore containing your drone's previous personality is added to your Key Items and can be reinstalled upon purchasing a new one. However, because standard and bimbo cores are not cross-compatible and both personalities are very simple, this is currently just a sentimental option.
