Zuzaan is a magesmith who uses desire to fuel her smithy. She is frequently pregnant, since her she fuels her work by feeling pleasure. When not working, she likes to help out at the nursery, since she contributes a lot to their workload. A long time ago she used to travel widely to places like Jassira and Bel Carn, but an old leg injury she got wyrm-hunting now keeps her largely village-bound.

Her stomach looks more like a barrel than a board, rounded by the onslaught of many pregnancies, but even that is still taut with obvious strength. Interactions
Stepping into the blacksmith's tent, the Champion is taken aback by the sweltering heat inside. Once they've acclimatized, they find Zuzaan pounding a spearhead into shape. When the smith notices the Champion's entrance, she stops and pours a bucket of water over herself and asks if she can help them with something, or better yet -- if they can help her. The Champion asks her what she needs help with, and she responds with enchanting spearheads--and adds that if the Champion does a good enough job, she might even reward them. When the Champion asks for specifics, she pauses, apologizes, and explains that she's been overworked since the centaurs started going crazy, and she's gotten so that she assumes that everyone knows how her forge works: she crafts with passion. Emotion, she explains, is a powerful force, and she finds the peak of desire best for crafting strong bonds. Rage or another powerful feeling would also suffice, but she prefers to have fun while she works.
The Champion asks Zuzaan if she has the time to talk, or if she's going to work all day. The forgemistress chuckles and says that working doesn't prevent her from talking.

Talk
Zuzaan says her hobby is getting pregnant, since Kavi's contraceptives counteract her magic, and her work relies on her feeling good. The Champion replies that they're not sure getting pregnant counts as a hobby, and Zuzaan acquiesces, stating she spends most of her not-forge time helping out at the nursery because she contributes so much to their workload. She can help with breastfeeding the children of hunters who don't have time for it, as these days, she has to get a potion from Kavi in order to stop lactating.
She used to enjoy traveling, and saw parts of the world considers to be 'more civilized' than the Marches. For example, she visited Jassira and hunted a dune behemoth, and although she didn't manage to kill it, a few of its teeth hang on her greatbow. She liked Bel Carn, especially its hanging gardens. She found it interesting to go to cities where people don't worship The Seven. Although she can't travel much now with the state of her leg, she says the village is plenty of entertainment, with people like the Champion around.
She got the injury wyrm-hunting, she explains. She and two other hunters in Jassira went hunting in the Gaovod Mountains, and, unfortunately, they woke the wyrm up before they even realized they were standing on it. The wyrm split her leg with a big lick of its serrated tongue, although she didn't notice the injury until she'd already fired arrows into both its eyes, and found her leg didn't hold her. The group was able to kill it, and one of the hunters was a healer and was able to help, although the damage did almost make him throw up. But, she says, she hardly notices it anymore.
Help
The Champion asks Zuzaan how her magic works. She explains that since she's working with magic, material means little as long as the feeling is there. She learned smithing before her mother realized she had inherited a gift, one that hadn't been seen in generations; there may be more efficient methods of enchantment, but the forge works for her. She's heard from traveling merchants that there haven't been teachers of magesmithing since the Godswar, and such, she taught herself the craft. None of her over twenty children have inherited the gift.
The basic premise of her approach, she describes, is "hammering the overflowing passion of the world into the weapon." The more passion, she adds, the more the enchantment responds. She grins at the Champion, noting they could make good use of it.
With that, the Champion is able to choose if they'd like to help her, and if so, how.

The Champion can hire Zuzaan to help with Wayfort renovations during A Dragon in the Roost and Wayfort Upgrades.

Late-Stage Pregnancy Sex
This scene occurs when visiting Zuzaan when she's 90% through her current pregnancy (roughly 243 days since start of pregnancy or roughly 40.5 days for Short Pregnancy Mode) and should not be within the last 22 hours since the Champion visited Zuzaan at this current state.
Upon visiting Zuzaan at her smithy, they find the forge oddly quiet and a cursory glance through the door flap reveals that Zuzaan must be out. The Champion is given the option:
- Find Zuzaan - Meeting Zuzaan might be a little overwhelming right now, but you're sure you'll be fine. (requires a cock)
If the Champion decides to go look for her at the residential yurts, it leads to a pregnancy sex scene.
