Description
This frost-crusted spellbook was carried to the Marches by a young Mallachite mendicant in the aftermath of the Godswar. She came to the cold north with a heart full of desert fire, intending to spread hope and joy through a land devastated by horrific war. The cold, dark forest proved an unrelenting adversary as she tended to the scattered beastfolk tribes still eeking out an existence there, until the day she found a bastion of welcoming warmth hidden in the forest that drew her in and never let her go.

Currently not an item the Champion can obtain.
For Cait, it is obtained by deciding to Keep the Rimescore and give it to Cait during the events of Howling in the Dark. This upgrade applies to the following Cait companion sets:

If the Rimebound Grimoire key item, which is purchased from Senja, is:
- Given to Cait and told Go For It, the following will be gained:
- Raise Corruption by (2)
- Gain Powers: Celestial Frost & Rime Veil
- Cait's Companion Set: Frostheart Set
- The Rimebound Grimoire (waist) will be applied to All of Cait's Companion Sets
- Given to Cait and told Don't Risk It, and then given to Barney under Frost Grimoire?, the following will be gained:
- +(3000) EC
- The Ring of Warmth will be applied to All of Cait's Companion Sets
